Italian company Capricorn have released these suspension pins for their Lab C02 chassis. Made from titanium, they are much lighter than the standard steel versions allowing you to put that saved weight somewhere better.

Capricorn have released a pair of CVD shafts for the Mugen MTX-5. These lightweight shafts are suitable for the front and rear of the car and help reduce the overall weight by 12 grams. Supplied with all the parts necessary to mount them to the wheel axle.

Italian company Capricorn have announced that top Norwegian racer Adrian Bernsten will join their International team for 2012. The former Xray driver, who has previously run Capricorn engines, will now use their 1/8th and 1/10th scale chassis’s as well as Capricorn engines, tires and fuel.

The set, which include 14 5.8mm balls, 2 flanged for rear hub and 2 for the upright, weigh in at only 4.27 grams compared to 12.78 grams for the standard steel versions. Capricorn have introduced their new Brain Stuff brand, dedicated to quality materials, technical solutions and R&D. Their first product is this tire additive applicator which helps apply the additive to the tires. An electric motor runs at a constant speed rotating the tires placed on the first axis and contact the other two tires which will run in the opposite direction. An adjustment on the two cams allow you to set the pressure between the tires and choose the type of additive penetration. Works with 1/8th and 1/10th tires.

Capricorn have announced that the LAB C02 upgrade kit will be available from retailers this week. The set includes lots of new and updated parts such as upper and lower aluminium front bulkheads with differential inserts, an updated upper carbon fibre radio plate, redesigned rear upper wishbone holders, new rear upper arm linkages, suspension inserts as well as all the necessary fasteners to make the upgrade.

Capricorn has announced that they have signed Favio Elias to their factory team for the 2012 and 2013 seasons. Flavio Elias is eight times Brazilian 1/8 Champion and will now as a official Capricorn pilot represent Brazil in international competitions such as the next worlds in Japan. Flavinho, who already was one of the stand out drivers at the last Worlds in Miami, was Brazilian champion in 2010 and 2011 already running the Capricorn chassis.
