Capricorn ONE tungsten engine screws

New from Capricorn RC for their ONE range of accessories are these tungsten engine screws. The screws are for the underside of the chassis where the engine mount is secured. In total they have a weight gain of 10grams over the standard steel screw. This adding weight to the lowest possible point of the car, making weight placement easier for the end user.

Capricorn ONE exhaust gaskets

New from Capricorn RC for their ONE accessories range is some new and improved exhaust gaskets. They can withstand higher temperatures therefore lasting a lot longer and not needing to worry about the gasket as often. They are available in red and white.

Capricorn ONE .21 bi-compound backplate

From Capricorn RC for their ONE .21 engines is a bi-compound backplate. It is made of 2 materials, steel and aluminium, with the backplate featuring a new design to help with better internal fluid dynamics and increase coanda effect. In testing this has helped in improve torque and top speed for the engines and gaining around 10 seconds more run time.

Capricorn LAB F102 Evo conversion kit

New from Capricorn RC for their LAB F102 Evo Formula platform is a redesigned rear pod. The pod is substantially lighter than the current version, improving the weight distribution and general handling. Also a new rear wing mount which has the option of mounting to the main chassis to give a more rigid mounted wing however the wing can still also be mounted on to the pod. This will greatly change the characteristics of the car especially at high speeds.

DeadFly Capricorn TE mid motor top deck

From DeadFly is this new top deck for the Capricorn TE mid motor TC chassis. Optimised to improve the flex characteristics in low traction conditions, the flex can be altered by either using or removing the rear centre screw from the top deck. Additional flex can also be obtained by cutting the rear carbon tab of the top deck with a Dremel or similar cutting tool, to increase the length of the flex point, further increasing flex in the rear of the car. Together with the use of the screws under the motor mount, you have access to a large range of flex options and characteristics. CNC machined from high quality 2.0mm 3K carbon fibre there is also a version available in a 1.6mm.

DeadFly TE04/05 carbon fibre bumper brace

DeadFly have produced this 3mm thick quality carbon fibre bumper brace as a direct replacement for the Capricorn TE04/05 standard plastic brace. It comes suppled with the 2mm top brace, aiding in the prevention of hard impacts snapping the main chassis.

Jeffrey Rietveld join Capricorn team

Capricorn have announce that Jeffrey Rietveld has joined their factory team for the upcoming season. The Dutch driver leaves Infinity to join an already strong team which contains former WC Dominic Greiner and new signing Paolo Morganti amongst many others. Multiple ENS finalist Jeffrey has this to say:

I’m really happy to announce that I’ll be driving for Capricorn from 2021 onwards. A very big thank you to Patrizio for this opportunity and his trust in me. I’ve already had a warm welcome from the team and am very much looking forward to racing and working together to get the best results possible!
