Infinity IF14 aluminium CVD drive shaft set

Infinity has released a new lightweight CVD rear drive shaft set for its IF14 electric touring car. The set is made up of new axle shafts that are made from an improved super hard heavy duty steel material. This has allowed grinding of the axle shafts to the extreme limit to achieve the lightest weight possible. Further reducing the CVD’s overall weight, the drive shaft are made from Japanese 7075-T6 aluminium featuring a black anodised finish and engraved with the Infinity logo. High precision finishing of all components that make up the CVD set ensures smooth operation eliminating any play and making for improved corner speed and throttle response. An M3 set screw is used for simple assembly of the universal joint.

Infinity IF18 1/8th nitro on-road kit

Based on Infinity’s 2017 World Championship winning 1/8th nitro on-road platform comes the new IF18. An evolution of that winning package the car features a number of significant updates including completely new front and rear 7075 aluminium bulkhead designs that allow for easier access to the drivetrain components. Giving the car a new suspension geometry in combination with longer suspension arms for improved stability, the design has taken into account ease of access to drastically improve the ability to carry out maintenance. The geometry is fully adjustable using bushings and spacers included as part of the kit. Three Ackermann positions are available and all moulded parts are produced from a special composite compound to ensure the best performance without compromising durability. 0.5mm carbon fibre suspension shims for IF14

Designed specifically for the Infinity IF14 are 0.5mm carbon fibre suspension shims. The parts are machined from high-quality carbon fibre and are designed to increase the track width by 1mm, whilst leaving the driver with maximum toe and roll-centre options and making the car easier to drive in medium and high-grip conditions. The suspension mount shims are simply bolted between the suspension holders of the car and the bulkhead. The shims are sold in sets of four, and they become available at the beginning of 2018 here.

Infinity IF14 CVD joint cover tubes

Infinity have released a set of joint covers for use on the double jointed CVD of their IF14 electric touring car. The covers are aimed at preventing the G-Clip from accidentally coming off during running. Supplied in two 50mm lengths, drivers cut 10mm lengths for use on each CVD with slight heating of the tube creating the perfect final fit. An extra benefit of the cover is that it helps retain grease in the joint therefore extending the life-span of the parts and the maintenance cycle.
