Exotek RB6 direct spur mount & alloy wing buttons

Exotek have new optional parts available in the form of a direct spur mount for the Kyosho RB6 as well as alloy wing buttons for a range of 1/10th off-road buggies. Starting with the direct spur mount, the slipper eliminator hub fits all RB6 series buggies and truck including the RT6 and SC6 and it is best used in stock class and oval racing where a slipper is not necessarily needed. The lower weight makes for a cooler running motor and the design of the hub let drivers use all Kimbrough-standard spur gears. Due to the simple mounting swapping the hub for the slipper is an easy task when conditions call for it.

Exotek TLR 22 direct spur gear hub & spring retainers

Exotek Racing have new aluminium option parts for the Team Losi Racing 22 line of buggies and trucks available in the form of a direct spur gear hub and aluminium spring retainers. Starting with the spur gear hub, the part is machined from high-quality aluminium and designed to replace the kit’s slipper assembly of all 22 2WD vehicles with a lightweight, rigid hub ideal for stock class and oval racing. The lower weight increases acceleration and it makes for cooler running motors while the overall design allows to run all Kimbrough standard gears for increased gear ratio options. Weighting in at 3.8g the part is also easily swapped for the stock slipper when conditions call for it.

Exotek B5 & SRX-2 aluminium topshafts

New from Exotek come aluminium topshafts for the Team Associated B5 and the Serpent SRX-2 2WD buggy. The B5 shaft weights in at around 5g and is 8.5g lighter than the stock shaft while the SRX-2 part scrubs around 6.4g of weight. The lighter weight makes for less rotation mass in the drivetrain, quicker spool-up and better braking resulting in an overall improved transmission performance. The shafts come hard-anodised, polished and are a drop-fit solution.

Exotek B5M battery strap & FlexFit cap

New from Exotek Racing comes the ‘Flite’ carbon battery strap for the Team Associated B5M buggy and a Navy FlexFit hat. Starting with the battery retainer, the part is cut from high-quality carbon fibre, it weights in at only 6g and replaces the stock composite strap with a more rigid part. The direct replacement strap is useable with stock and aftermarket thumbscrews. Also new is the adult-size FlexFit hat with embroidered Exotek team logo to show your passion to everything Exotek. The cap is available in S/M and L/LX sizes.

Exotek XB4 9.5mm & 12mm hex wheel adapters

New from Exotek Racing come three hex wheel adapter sets for the XB4 line of Xray buggies. First up is the 9.5mm front hex set that allows the use of B44.2 style front wheels in case you wish to use an old stock of Team Associated or Losi front rims. The machined hubs come with 2mm steel pins and set screws to lock the hex in place. Designed with the same intention is the 5.5mm wide 12mm hex hub set for the front of the XB4, that helps to mount 12mm hex wheels such as the ones from Kyosho. Last but not least are 9mm wide 12mm hex hubs for Team Associated, Losi or similar wheels. All sets are available in orange or black colour.

Exotek XB4 aluminium shock parts

Exotek introduce new optional parts for Xray’s successful XB4 line of buggies in the form of aluminium shock caps, shock collars and spring cups. Starting with the shock caps, the parts are CNC-machined from high-quality aluminium and of a heavy duty design. They come in orange or black colour, include snap-in POM bushings and high density rubber O-rings for the bleeder screw. They are usable on all XB4 shocks but require the use of XB4’14 inner O-ring seals.

Exotek TB-04 stock motor adapter

Made for Tamiya’s TB-04 chassis is this aluminium stock motor adapter. The C-shaped 6061 alloy part allows to use up to 52T 64dp and 37T 48dp pinions without further modification, making it ideal for all high-turn stock motors and “blinky” spec racing. The polished and anodised part is of a vented design for improved cooling and is also TCS North America series legal.

Exotek SRX-2 servo mounts & battery strap

Exotek have first option parts for the Serpent SRX-2 buggy available in the form of aluminium servo mounts and a carbon fibre battery strap. First up are the servo mounting brackets, machined from high quality aluminium the parts come in Serpent orange or glossy gun metal finish and replace the stock plastic mounts with a more rigid and cooler looking alternative. Also new is the Flite LiPo battery strap for the rear motor SRX-2. Weighting in at only 4.8g the carbon fibre part is not only over 5g lighter than the stock part but it also gives added clearance allowing to run the battery in a more forward position while mounting the speedo behind the battery for improved balance. The brace is usable with stock or aftermarket thumb screws.
