Exotek SC10 4×4 saddle pack inline mount

Exotek have released a saddle pack inline mount for Exotek SC10 4×4 LCG chassis. It uses the pre-drilled holes found on the LCG alloy chassis. The design allows for bolt in mounting of saddle packs and mounts your standard saddle packs ‘inline’ for better balance over the stock SC10 4×4 location. It can be used with the stock plastic chassis if you drill your own holes for 3mm hardware. Includes threaded posts, spacers and hardware.

Exotek have released this ultra narrow TCX-XS liPo chassis. This extra soft chassis is aggressively shaped for extra flex over the stock TCX chassis and uses US made bi-directional layup carbon fiber for maximum flex traits. The rear section has added cut outs for greater flex at the motor mount for increased rear end stability allowing you to drive into corners harder and power out faster. Great chassis to have to extend tire wear and generate maximum grip for controlled tire races. Also for the TCX is this extra soft top plate, which has been aggressively shaped for extra flex over the stock TCX top plate and uses US made bi-directional layup carbon fiber for maximum flex traits. Greater overall flex for increased rear end stability allowing you to drive into corners harder and power out faster. To be used with Exotek’s F1R kit, the F1R uni-crank steering set is a new steering upgrade that moves the weight balance of the car more towards the rear for more stability and more rear grip when used with ‘shorty’ type LiPo packs. The kit includes ball bearings with steering crank, heavy duty center post, servo mounts, servo turnbuckle and mounting bits. Requires F1R kit, F104 adjustable turnbuckle set for steering, low profile servo and ‘shorty’ type 7.4v LiPo.

Exotek EX06 pro conversion chassis

Exotek have released their EX06 pro conversion chassis that turns your TA-06 into a power house that can rival the performance of any other high end car model on the market. They have taken the center battery layout of the TA-06 and tuned it for maximum performance. Some of the refinements include an extra long narrow top plate design which works the same way as high end touring cars allowing controlled flex laterally to improve overall side bite and corner speeds. The top plate is mated to an alloy front section that connects directly to the front bulkhead without any chassis posts to generate traction and to help eliminate tweak inherent in chassis post designs. An alloy front top plate section securely mounts the front pulley set for proper belt function while a new steering assembly design is not attached to the top plate just like in high end tourers to help generate front traction and to eliminate top plate tweak.

Exotek SC10 4×4 saddle pack mounts

Exotek have released these saddle pack mounts for the SC10 4×4 LCG chassis. Using pre-drilled holes the design moves the saddle packs forward to better balance the front to back weight ratio and get more front wheel pull while the side by side layout also generates more corner bite. A no hassle design, simply remove 1 screw to allow both packs to slide out from the left side of the holder. Made from 3mm quasi weave construction for extra reliability, it comes supplied with threaded posts, spacers and hardware.

Exotek announce more Tamiya options

Exotek Racing have announced new option parts for the Tamiya TRF417, TA-05,  as well as the Exotek F103 and F103 chassis conversions. Made for the TRF417 is the new ultra narrow and extra soft 417XS chassis plate. Aggressively shaped and 2.25mm thick for added flex the main chassis sports extra cut-outs in the rear section for more controlled flex, more tyre performance and maximum grip with controlled tyres. The plate accepts 7.4V flat bottom LiPo batteries.

Exotek alloy LCG center chassis for SC10 4×4

Exotek have released this new machined alloy LCG center chassis for the SC10 4×4. The main complaints with the stock SC10 4×4 is that the truck has a high center of gravity that causes the truck to easily traction roll in high grip conditions, is too light which causes it to lose out in door banging when running against heavier trucks and does not feel as stable as the heavier Losi trucks. This new chassis adds over 5oz to your truck and mostly at the lowest part of the truck, the main chassis for a more sure footed, planted feel. Track testers are reporting a much smoother easier to drive truck that stays absolutely planted at high and low speeds and jumps and lands much more easily without the erratic feeling of the stock truck. Machined from 100% billet it has a hard anodized gun metal finish and laser etched Exotek logos. A stiffer center section will help eliminate the reports of the belt from coming off of the front pulley due to the flex of the stock chassis.
