Hot Bodies chassis protect sheet

Hot Bodies chassis protect sheet

Hot Bodies have released this Chassis Protect Sheet, essentially a large clear plastic sticker, to provide extra durability and protection for your chassis, whether you’re racing off-road or on road. The clear self-adhesive PTFE plastic is very slick and provides minimum friction if your car bottoms out, or slides over bumps, while the sheet keeps scratches and nicks off your graphite or aluminium chassis plate.

HB Cyclone D4 Wheel Hub

Hot Bodies Europe have today released information about 3 new products for their Cyclone D4 4wd electric buggy, all of which we have shown you back in April, but only now do we have the full product information. First up are these steel wheel hubs to enable you to mount Losi 4wd front wheels to the Cyclone D4, so you can re-use tyre and wheel sets you may already have to make the transition to the D4 easier. Next up are new shock spring sets for the D4 that are matched and have had the ends of each spring ground flat for consistent performance left and right. Also released today is the center one-way shaft which drives the front diff when on-power, but allows the diff to rotate independently of the drivetrain when the car is off-power.

Hot Bodies Cyclone 12

Hot Bodies Cyclone 12

HPI / Hot Bodies are out in force at this weeks big hobby fair in Japan, with the Japanese firm displaying, amongst other new products, its new 1/12th pan car. Called the Cyclone 12 we first mentioned it back in February when it was shown in prototype form at the Nuernberg show in Germany. Now the car is finished and will go on sale immediately and it looks pretty good from the pictures we have seen and if the Andy Moores performance at this year 1/12th Euros is anything to go by it should perform very well too.

Travis Amezcua joins Hot Bodies

Travis Amezcua joins Hot Bodies

Neo Buggy have the scoop on top US off road racer Travis Amezcua, who has left his current employers Team Losi, leaving behind him a strong record there. Travis has been on and off the gas off road scene, but his domination of qualifying at last year’s ROAR buggy nats, and performances since, prompted Novarossi to sign him to the US team, made up of Amezcua, Mike Truhe and Phillip Atondo – all Losi drivers. His new role at HPI/Hot Bodies will see him focus on the development of the companies 1/8th and 1/10th scale off road cars, and also assumes the role of US off road team manager.
