JConcepts Illuzion Kyosho 777 WC body

More Illuzion bodies from JConcepts, this time for the Kyosho Inferno MP777, it comes available in either standard or heavy duty polycarbonate. This WC body features enhanced hard edge side pod styling with runner flow channels on the sides designed to move the air more efficiently to the wing. The roof of the body has been dramatically wedged and Illuzionized for that aggressive look while the front of the body has less of a transition from hood to window which gives it a more dramatic look.

JConcepts Illuzion Losi 8ight T body

JConcepts have released their latest Illuzion body, this time for the Losi 8ight T truggy which features a stadium truck style that combines hard edge racing lines with a front hood scoop. The roof of the body has been dramatically wedged or for that aggressive look, while the rear of the body has been designed for extra bed durability. The body has been made from heavy-duty thickness polycarbonate and comes complete with window masks and protective film.

JConcepts Hyper 8 Illuzion body

JConcepts will release yet another 1/8th scale Illuzion body shell, this time for the HoBao Hyper 8 buggy. As with all JConcepts Illuzion styled shells, this one looks great and sports enhanced hard edge side pod styling with runner flow channels on the sides designed to move the air more efficiently to the wing. The roof of the body has been dramatically wedged and Illuzionized for that aggressive look while also performing on the track come race day.

JConcepts BJ4WE extended review

Our partners oOple have created a dedicated section on their site, giving an extended review of the JConcepts BJ4WE. The intention of this section is to show the performance of the BJ4 worlds edition car, and how it has developed since its first debut in Collengo, Italy – at the worlds in 2005. JConcepts Racing Bag

JConcepts have been busy it seems, judging by their new releases today, and we thank them for making a quiet news day a little bit better. This Racing Bag is a multi-purpose equipment bag that can be used for about any of your R/C needs. Its design and large proportions allow you to store and transfer just about any combination of R/C equipment you desire. There is enough room for a 1/8 or 1/10 scale buggy, 1/10 scale truck or touring car as well as lots of room for radio gear, tools, tires, or various other R/C gear. JConcepts Wrench Sets

More stuff from JConcepts, this time its the release of their new Imperial and Metric Wrench sets which as you can see come with colour coded handles and are supplied in a handy carry case with the JConcepts logo on the front.

JConcepts Wrench Sets are available in a 5 pc. Standard set and a 4 pc. Metric set and each set includes a JConcepts zippered carrying case for easy storage and transfer. To make locating the right size easy, each Wrench Set has a different color-coded handle on which the wrench size is clearly laser-etched. Grooves in the handle provide a firm comfortable grip, as well as prevent the wrenches from rolling off a flat surface. Available sizes include 1.5mm, 2.0mm, 2.5mm, 3.0mm, .050″, 1/16″, 5/64″, and 3/32″.

JConcepts Illuzion buggy wing & Ball cup sets

A few months ago JConcepts released their effective and really cool looking Illuzion buggy wing and at that time it was only available in white and yellow. Today they announced that this wing will now be available in black, and just to recap about the product itself, it is designed for both 1/8th buggies and truggies and features durable through-rib design and recessed side dams for extra decal protection.

JConcepts also released some Ball Cup sets which are designed to fit all 1/10th scale off-road vehicles and come in black, white and yellow. Designed with performance as well as aesthetics in mind these newly designed low-profile ball cups have been designed for extra durability and added â€˜wheel to tie-rodâ€™ clearance. The set comes with 4 left and 4 right low profile ball cups, as well as 12 normal ball cups, included per package.

Josh Pain dominates the New Zealand Nats

More JConcepts news, this time is to report that the BJ4 has won the 4wd class at the recently run New Zealand Nationals at the hands of Josh Pain, who also won the 2wd Nationals too. Josh’s 1st place BJ4 was not alone, 6 other BJ4’s were in the A-final with 4 finishing in the top 5. Josh Pain, Michael Harlow, Ben Panic and Andrew Molkenton finishing 1st, 3rd, 4th and 5th place respectively. Josh reported that the track was extremely rough and loamy and the BJ4 just sucked it all up in stride.
