Coming from JConcepts and made for the Axial Yeti equipped with 2.2″ tyres are the new 2.2″ Axial Yeti 12mm glue-on wheels. The 8-spoke 1-piece wheel is a smooth design, incorporating a triangle type cut-out of spokes around the centre for heavy street appeal. The design leaves the natural colour of the wheel showing inside the spokes which adds a touch of mystery and depth. In-between the spoke design rests the dividing sections which break up the pattern adding a bit of bite to the overall design. The entire face of the wheel has been plated with a silver coating which gives the Yeti owner a little more luxurious look to match-up to a variety of imaginary looks. Each package contains four wheels, 12mm plastic hexes, wheel adaptors to give the user a front and rear wheel offset and hardware to make the installation complete. The adaptors attach with the included eight, 2.5x8mm screws to provide beefy security. In addition, each wheel includes a solid and open centre cap which are attached with the included eight, 2.5x6mm socket head cap screws.

JConcepts have a new bar-type 1/10th buggy rear tyre available, the Bar Flys. Based off of the successful Bar Code V1 the newly designed tyre offers a reduced overall tread height and a blended tread/carcass section. In-between the slotted bars, tiny Pressure Point size pins were added for increased surface area. The micro-height of the tread transitions out to the all important side-wall area where the team has maintained position of the original “Cactus” feature but have also positioned a new V-joint feature to support the lateral load of high-speed circuits. The Bar Flys are built on the 60mm bead and carcass design making them interchangeable with all 60mm/2.4″ wheel combinations. The interior ribbing features the double-hatch pattern that helps maintain a comfy ride while each set of tyres includes the Dirt-Tech closed cell inserts. The tyre is available as 2WD front, 4WD front and 2WD/4WD rear variant in various compounds.

New from JConcepts and made for the Team Associated B5, B5M and T5M is an aluminium steering rack. CNC-machined and replacing the stock plastic piece, the steering rack comes in a blue or black anodised finish and sports machined chamfered silver edges and engraved JConcepts.net logo. The aluminium, light-weight assembly provides a more rigid steering system with increased steering feel and response. The rack includes two thin crush tubes which should be placed in between the bearings in the rack.

The new 1.9″ Vengeance wheel from JConcepts is a perfect complement to the array of 1.9″ trail and scale rig builds, projects and vehicles currently on the market. Coming from JConcepts and made for the Team Associated B5M buggy is an aluminium wing mounts and buttons set. The rear wing mount of the B5M vehicle is under a serious load during crashes and inevitable direct landings so JConcepts has beefed up the wing mount area with the introduction of the aluminium mounts specifically designed for this buggy. Made from CNC-machined aluminium and available in blue and black colour, these mounts are designed in a creative but functional way to add rigidity to a high-impact area. A direct bolt-on part adds security, high-end looks and peace of mind for the hard-core basher and racer. Securing the wing to the mounts is made easy with the included Finnisher style aluminium wing buttons which accept a 3mm flat head screw. The use of these parts in conjunction with JConcept’s optional aluminium wing shim adds durability and a direct clamp to the assembly. The added boss on the wing mounts also aligns the pre-cut B5M Hi-Clearance wing perfectly for a show quality look, fit and finish.

JConcepts ZX6 Silencer bodyshell

The latest vehicle to receive the JConcepts Silencer bodyshell treatment is the Kyosho ZX6. The body features a profiled, Finnisher stance cockpit and forward raised side-pod to give the Silencer an immediate fighting appearance. A smooth, high-speed transition around the cab keeps the body heading in the right direction and a slight recess just behind the cab with channelling out the rear provides rear-end stability. The Silencer side-pods have a clipped rear-end, narrowing the rear by angling in just in front of the rear tyres. The rear side-pods angle sharply toward the shock tower and wing, enhancing the force placed on the rear pods during high-speed acceleration. The body is capped off with a cockpit shark fin for more high-speed tracking stability and increased roof stiffness. The package includes two 6.5″ Hi-Clearance wings pre-marked for the ZX6 for the easiest application.

Made for trail and scale vehicles such as the Vaterra Ascender are the new Hustle 1.9″ rims from JConcepts. The black 6-spoke wheels feature a silver face section for scale looks and each pair of wheels includes a solid and open centre cap which brings even more detail to the wheel. Depending on the desired look or axle length of the vehicle, drivers can choose whichever is best for their individual needs. The caps are attached with the included six, 2x6mm socket head cap screws. In-between the 6 spoke design rest small grooves which break up the pattern adding a split personality to the overall design. The entire face of the wheel has been plated with a silver coating which gives scalers a little more luxurious look to match-up to the variety of full scale inspired bodies on the market.
