JConcepts Ultima RT6 RM Finnisher bodyshell

JConcepts introduce the Ultima RT6 RM Finnisher bodyshell for Kyosho’s 2014 Cactus Classic winning 1/10th stadium truck. Based off the T4.1 Finnisher, the RT6 compatible variant has been updated to include pre-dimpled locations for the RT6. A revised front hood scoop allows plenty of clearance for the unique RT6 geometry while smoothing out the front down force area. Front chin spoiler, headlight and grill protect the front-end from unwanted up-drafts during flight while, like the ROAR National Champion Hi-Flow SCT body, the Finnisher body has built-in air escape passages which allow the customer to fine-tune the body for maximum outdoor performance. The body includes the high performance gurney spoiler which increases rear grip and balances the handling characteristics of the aggressively styled body.

JConcepts B5M Silencer bodyshell

JConcepts introduce the Silencer bodyshell for the Team Associated B5M mid motor 2WD buggy. Sporting the well-known Silencer design features the body sports a mild cab forward design, a roof top shark fin and an extremely low profile appearance. Made from clear polycarbonate the body comes including window masks, decal sheet and two 6.5″ Hi-Clearance wings.

JConcepts B5M Silencer bodyshell

Set for an official debut at next week’s Cactus Classic is the JConcepts Silencer bodyhell for the new Team Associated B5M. Sporting the distinctive Silencer cabin design the body is made to give AE’s mid motor contender a totally new look and improved aerodynamics. Expect the official announcement to follow soon.

JConcepts TLR 22-4 Silencer bodyshell

JConcepts introduce the Silencer bodyshell for the TLR 22-4 buggy. Sporting the distinctive Silencer “mild” cab forward design with a roof top shark fin, the body is designed for high-speed tracks and features forward raised side-pods which at the front have a heavy chamfer against the chassis with two trim lines which can be cut-out for increased flow around vehicle electrical. At the rear of the cab, two mini-pod outlets can be reamed to size for air exit cooling. A slight recess just behind the cab with channeling out the rear provides rear-end stability and can also be trimmed for additional flow. The Silencer side-pods have a clipped rear-end, narrowing the rear by angling in just in front of the rear tyres. The rear side-pods angle sharply toward the shock tower and wing, enhancing the force placed on the rear pods during high-speed acceleration. The body comes clear, including window masks, decal sheet and two 6.5″ Hi-Clearance rear wings.

JConcepts B5 Silencer bodyshell

Seen for the first time during the recent JConcepts Winter Indoor Nationals JConcepts now officially introduce the Silencer design bodyshell for the Team Associated B5 buggy. Sporting a mild cab forward design with a shark fin moulded into the roof, the Silencer separates from the B5 kit body by sporting forward raised sidepods, air scoops for improved airflow and an overall low-profile appearance for improved aerodynamics and a different look. As usual the body comes clear, including window masks and two 6.5″ Hi-Clearance wings.

JConcepts C4.2 narrow rear suspension mounts

JConcepts has dropped an additional option for C4.2 owners with the release of the narrow rear pivot suspension kit. The C4.2 comes stock with a slightly wider rear suspension pivot geometry which allows the vehicle to react appropriately in extremely high-grip conditions. However, when the traction is lower, additional swing is needed in the rear-end and justifies the narrow rear pivot suspension. By decreasing the size of the camber link, inner pivot virtual rectangle, the buggy transitions left to right quicker, applying force against the rear tires giving that moment of forgiveness. Drivers feel more confident as traction breaks allowing them to power down slightly quicker transitioning into a forward moment. This setup is especially good in medium to high traction conditions which drivers see on outdoor and indoor tracks throughout the year. The narrow pivot mounts must be used in conjunction with the #2323 C4.2 rear suspension kit to take full advantage of the rear suspension geometry. All parts, such as the front and rear plates and the pivot bushings are also available separately.

JConcepts 3Ds stadium truck tyres

JConcepts introduce the 3Ds tyre for 1/10th stadium truck. Debuted at the IFMAR World Championships in Pattaya, Thailand, for the 1/8th buggy class, the 3Ds’ are developed to be the ultimate slick-groove tyre and are a first to combine the high-stability design of a black groove bar tyre into an individually flexible pattern of finely spaced Double Dee lugs in one package. 3Ds excel on indoor and outdoor hard packed surfaces with either dry or wet conditions and they come in a variety of compounds including blue (soft), green (super soft) and black (mega soft).

JConcepts MP9 TK13 Silencer body shell

JConcepts have released their popular Silencer body shell for the Kyosho MP9 TK13 buggy. Designed for the use on high-speed tracks it features a narrowed, Finnisher stance cockpit that allows for smoother high-speed transition and increased flow in and out of the body for electrical air-flow. A deep recess behind the cab features dual channeling out the rear providing air escape along with rear-end stability. The side-pods have a clipped rear-end, narrowing the rear by angling just in front of the rear tyres. The extended runner features on the rear-end of the body enhance the force placed on the rear pods during high-speed acceleration. The main pods are heavily chamfered with a more heat-shrink design over the speed control and motor areas. The end result has the body looking extremely low-profile with heavy JConcepts edginess and appeal and it is capped off with a cockpit “shark fin” for more high-speed tracking stability and increased roof stiffness.
