Toy Fair 2009 – KO Propo

Japanese firm KO Propo had a stand here at the show, displaying their full range of radios and servos including their new releases. The company has 3 new intermediate level servos, the PDS 2345 ICS, PDS 2511 ICS & PDS 2512 ICS, the former being a high speed servo suitable for Toruing cars, and other similar applications, and features a metal and hybrid gear set, meaning one of the main gears is plastic with a metal centre, so it is lighter but the smallest gear that could be prone to stripping is much stronger. The 2511 and 2512 are semi low profile servos, with more torque than the 2345 and have full metal gears, meaning they are suitable for use in buggies.

KO Propo VFS-1 BMC & 2.4Ghz monitor

KO Propo have released a number of new items including this a new Sensored brushless motor controller and a 2.4GHz band monitor. The VFS-1 BMC uses KO Propo’s patented VFS technology, has five preprogrammed settings and comes with overheat & current overload protection equipped. The 2.4GHz band monitor allows you to check the use of 2.4GHz in your area. It plugs into your PC USB port and is great for tracks to check on the conditions of 2.4GHz band.

The people at KO Propo America have been touch to tell us about the launch of their new and improved web site. KO Propo 2.4GHz Modules & Receiver

KO Propo America was in touch to inform us about the immediate release of a number of new, long anticipated, items. First up are a new 2.4GHz transmitter module, the RF-901S is a conventional system which pairs up with the the KR-408S, a 2.4GHz micro 4-channel receiver which has also been newly released. Also new from KO Propo is the RF-901SM, a 2.4GHz transmitter module for use specifically with the new matching systems found in the latest Mini-Z vehicles from Kyosho.

KO Propo EX-5UR transmitter

Seen at this years Shizuoka Hobby Show in Japan is the company’s new EX-5UR, a 2.4GHz SS 3ch transmitter. Set for an Autumn release, this entry level radio system features many high end features such as an LCD display, 7 model memory and ultra fast throttle and steering response.

Taylor Peterson joins KO Propo

KO Propo in America have contacted us to let everyone know that top Kyosho racer Taylor Peterson has joined their team. A multiple race winner and finalist, Taylor will use KO Propo radio equipment in his Kyosho Inferno buggy and truggy with immediate effect.
