KO Propo EX-5FH Direct Digital System radio set

KO Propo introduce the EX-5FH sport level 2.4GHz radio system with Direct Digital System technology. The radio offers high speed transmitting using frequency hopping 2.4GHz technology, 7 model memory, EPA, dual rate, exponential, and steering speed functions beside others as well as a 3rd channel that can also be used to adjust the sensitivity KR-212FHG gyro receiver. The transmitter is available in four different sets including one or two KR-211FH receivers, a KR-212FHG and PDS-2501ICS combo or including a KR-211FH receiver and two PDS-2511ICS servos.

KO Propo Esprit-IV 2.4GHz radio coming soon

During this week’s Shizuoka Hobby Show in Japan KO Propo introduce the follow-up model of the popular Esprit Universe III stick radio. Purpose designed to use 2.4GHz technology the “IV” is meant to also feature a larger display, a new button and jog dial layout, as well as other refinements to make KO Propo’s top-of-the-foodchain stick radio 2014 ready. We bring you more information on the transmitter as soon as we get them.

Hiro Seiko EX-1 KIY colour panels

Following the introduction of light weight screw sets for the KO Propo EX-1 KIY, Hiro Seiko now also have several main unit frames available that help with further customisation of KO Propo’s top-of-the-foodchain radio. Available in two different designs and a total of four colours including red, blue, green and white the panels give the transmitter a new look and it is understood that the parts can be additionally personalised by having your name printed on them.

KO Propo EX-1 KIY Limited Edition & new servos

KO Propo have several new products to offer in the form of the a limited edition “red screw” EX-1 KIY radio, the BSx2 brushless servo line and the Power variant of the RSx one10 low-profile servo. Starting with the EX-1 KIY, the Ver.3 transmitter comes with the already introduced Expert Grip pads and larger trigger unit. In addition the radio features a red anodised aluminium screw set for the grip and master unit which is also available separately as is a silver colour set to update older radios. New to all Ver.3 radio sets is the KR-413FH receiver that offers a significantly faster reaction time over the previous KR-411.

KO Propo Advantage Capacitor A board

KO Propo introduce the Advantage Capacitor A power capacitor board for brushless speed controllers. Designed to improve the speedo’s performance in the second half of the run the board also makes for improved efficiency and controller protection. The capacitor is usable with virtually every 1S and 2S ESC.

KO Propo RSx2 series high-performance servos

KO Propo introduce the RSx2 series of high-performance digital servos. All feature reworked amplifiers for a more linear feel with today’s high-response radio systems plus the case and gear tolerances are now even tighter for the ultimate in precision. Available are the RSx2 Response HC (0.06s/17.6kg-cm), RSx2 Power HC (0.11s/31.6kg-cm), RSx2 Response (0.06s/17.6kg-cm) and RSx2 Power (0.11s/31.6kg-cm) with the HC variants coming with an upper aluminium case for added rigidity and durability while the standard items come with reinforced composite upper cases. All servos feature mixed aluminium and steel gears, they are 7.4V compatible, come with gold-plated leads and double ball bearings.

KO Propo RSx one10 servo & KR-413FH receiver

KO Propo introduce the RSx one10 Response low-profile servo and the KR-413FH receiver. First up is the servo, the low-profile item is designed for the use in electric or nitro 1/10th vehicles, it is 7.4V compatible and offers a speed of 0.09s and a torque of 9.0kg-cm at 7.4V input. It is housed in an aluminium and plastic heatsink case, features dual ball bearings, hardened gear pins, an aluminium and plastic gear set, as well as a coreless motor and a gold-plated connector. The KR-413FH FHSS 4-channel receiver incorporates a new CPU that allows for increased processing speeds. With the increase in speed allows for quicker corrections and smoother transitions. When used with the latest EX-1 FHSS system, full benefit of a more linear and quicker response is achieved. The receiver measures 28×18.3×18.5mm, is 7.4V compatible and weights 7.5g.

KO Propo carbon servo horn set

KO Propo America introduce a carbon fibre servo horn set for the use in many 1/10th and 1/8th applications. It makes use of a gun metal anodised clamp mechanism that takes one of the supplied 16.5mm, 18.5mm or 20mm long and 2.5mm thick carbon levers. The carbon horns offer increased rigidity over standard plastic arms while being lighter of weight than all-aluminium parts.
