Italian company Marka Racing have new aluminium option parts available for the MD Racing MDF14 formula car. First up is a 2mm 7075-T6 aluminium main chassis plate. The part was designed to offer improved drivability in medium to high-bite conditions thanks to less torsional flex of the chassis. This can lead to improved traction and an easier to drive car. The plate is made from high-quality material, and it comes black anodised for wear.
Marka Racing have introduced an aluminium front body post plate for the MD Racing MDF14, Xray X1 and other cars. The plate allows to use front wings of different brands without having to worry about the position of the front body mount post as it remains the same due to the plate, and with it the front body post, being attached to the front bulkhead. The plate is machined from 7075-T6 aluminium, it comes black anodised and in a variant for the MD Racing MDF14 as well as a general part suitable for Xray, Yokomo and many other chassis.

Marka Racing have introduced an aluminium side damper piston for the MD Racing MDF14 formula car. The piston is made from Ergal 7075-T6 material and is meant to make for a smoother, more precise damper action while offering higher strength at the same time. Included comes a suitable grub screw for the damper eyelet.

MD Racing have new option parts for the MDF14 formula car available in the form of an updated carbon fibre chassis and suspension parts as well as an aluminium rear axle set. Starting with the carbon fibre parts, they are of a new design for added torsional stiffness and a better stiffness/weight ratio. Available are new front lower A-arms, battery plate, rear brace, upper power pod, and rear wing plate, as well as the main chassis and the lower power pod plate.

Spanish company MD Racing have first images of their forthcoming Formula E bodyshell for 1/10th formula cars available. Adapting the look of the current crop of Formula E electric race cars the body sports partly covered rear wheels and flowing contours. Beside the body there will also be suitable front and rear wings available in the future as well as a complete car kit. Overall the body, which will become available within the next couple of weeks, provides a faster and more stable car especially on high-speed tracks.

MD Racing introduce the MDF14 1/10th formula kit that has been developed over the past 10 month by Vicente Moreno Machancoses with the support of Toni Alama, Vicente Eres, Hector Albarracín, Jose Argonne, Sasha Klung, Daniel Raimann and Gabor Forray. The pan car features a ball motion called front end design that allows for active camber adjustments to fine-tune steering characteristics in corners. Another parameter to set-up up front is the roll centre, again to adapt the car to various track conditions. Other features include a variable servo system to alter the weight distribution without disturbing Ackermann setting and the car is based on a chassis that can be run with shorty or standard length battery packs with the shorty batteries being placeable in an inline or longitudinal position.

Spanish company MD Racing today released new images of their MDT15 1/10th electric touring car prototype. They show what we understand is a working prototype that will make a first appearance at this weekend’s final round of the 2013/14 Euro Touring Series at the Hudy Racing Arena in Trencin, Slovakia. The car is a mixture of new and proven design ideas and based on a carbon fibre chassis plate with a vertical upper deck construction, carbon fibre A-arms and new design bulkheads which allow to access the front and rear spool/diff without the need to take off the shock towers or shocks. Spanish company MD Racing, who are currently working to finalise their MDT15 touring car, announced their next project in the form of the MD Mini 10 M-class touring car. The vehicle will sport dimensions comparable to Tamyia’s poplar M-chassis and it features a front-mid motor layout, dual drive belts and it is designed around the use of saddle or shorty LiPo battery packs. It is understood that the car can be run in 4WD, front wheel drive or rear wheel drive configurations and with different wheelbase settings and first prototype may hit the light of the day shortly after the MDT15’s official introduction at the final round of the 2013/14 ETS series at the Hudy Arena in 2 weeks time.
