MIP Gen 2 1/4″ Turnbuckle Wrench

Renowned US tool manufacturer MIP has added this 1/4″ Turnbuckle Wrench to its Gen 2 tools range. Featuring a slim-profile design, it is specifically engineered to provide better access in tight spaces while giving you a precision fit. Its precision-machined steel construction, with ±.001″ manufacturing tolerances, is Laser-engraved with size marking as well as having a colour-coded identification ring. This new addition to the Gen 2 lline-up is especially useful for working on the MIP Legend 4-10 Kit and vintage Team Associated RC10 platforms, providing the precision and access needed for the 1/4″ hardware and turnbuckles found on these iconic vehicles.

New from renowned California based tool manufacturer MIP comes the release of the MIP 4-10 Legend kit, a conversion that preserves the character that made the original so special while delivering smoother acceleration, better consistency, and improved longevity. Whether you’re restoring a shelf-queen, building a period-correct racer, or running your Team Associated RC10 hard, this conversion brings classic innovation back to life. Over the past year and a half, MIP has gone back to its roots immersing itself in the nostalgic world of vintage RC racing, reconnecting with the community that helped shape its identity. The Eustace Moore run company say the MIP 4-10 Legend (2026 Edition) ‘is not a reissue. This is a resurrection.’ Every detail has been carefully revisited, refined, and reimagined blending the unmistakable DNA of the original with modern engineering, materials, and precision manufacturing. The result is a bespoke, retro-compatible kit that honours the past while performing in the present. All new tooling, programming and manufacturing processes were applied using the current twenty first century MIP while staying a true to what and how we created the MIP 4-10 Legend in the 80’s. Modern materials and updated heat treating mean stronger, more consistent alloys improve durability and reduce long-term wear, even under today’s higher-grip tracks and power systems. Tighter machining tolerances mean improved precision results in smoother drivetrain operation, reduced slop, and more predictable power delivery. Known load points were strengthened based on real-world racing experience, increasing reliability without compromising performance. Few RC platforms are as iconic as the Team Associated RC10. The original MIP 4-10 Conversion for the R10 buggy was created to do one thing exceptionally well: transform a legendary 2WD platform into something more aggressive, more planted, and more capable. MIP Mini-T 2.0 CVDs, slipper & topshaft/idler

The Losi Mini-T 2.0 is getting the MIP treatment as the US company releases a new range of upgrade parts for the 1/18th scale truck. First up is the MIP shiny CVD kit, made from high quality steel, they are built to last so you can make those crazy jumps and drive on those rough terrains with confidence knowing they will keep your car running. Next up is the race topshaft & idler gear set, designed to reduce the rotational mass of your car by 65% leading to quicker acceleration and better braking. Finally the slipper clutch kit includes high friction slipper pads for fine adjustment.

T-Works MIP hex wrench collar set

T-Works have introduced their new aluminium identification collar set for the popular MIP hex wrenches. The set includes four colour-coded collars with laser-etched size markings that slide over the tool tip of the hex wrenches and help to easily identify the hex’s sizes. Included with the set comes an Allen key and four grub screws for easy mounting of the collars.

RC Screwdriver MIP wrench holder & parts tray

RC Upgrade have introduced the new RC Screwdriver wrench holder and parts tray specially designed for the use with the popular MIP tools. The tool holder is usable with MIP’s hex and nuts drivers, the Speed Tip power tool tips as well as the 1/10th turnbuckle wrench and it is 3-D-printed to a high quality. The tools visible in the images after the break are not included.

MIP Enduro X-Duty centre drive kit

MIP have introduced their new X-Duty centre drive kit for the Element RC Enduro range of trail trucks. The set is a direct replacement for the standard kit parts, offering increased strength and a high amount of durability compared to the plastic kit drives. Included in the fully rebuildable set are hardened steel telescopic design centre driveshafts, couplers, shims and all needed hardware.

MIP SWorkz Bypass1 shock piston set

MIP have announced the release of their Bypass1 shock piston set for SWorkz’s 1/8th scale off-road buggies and trucks. Featuring colour-codes valves, the Bypass1 pistons allow to control and maximise the car’s performance based on which valves used. Thicker valves generate a slower rebound and thinner valves get quicker rebounds. Each set includes four pistons and a set of three different valves. The SWorkz-specific set features 16mm 6-hole pistons suitable for the S35 and S35-T vehicles and it comes including four pistons, three types of valves and mounting hardware.

LMR MIP T-wrench handle

Designed for the use with the popular MIP tools is the LMR T-wrench. The add-on handle allows to get some leverage on tough to shift nuts and bolts and it works with all 22mm MIP handles. The tool is 3-D-printed from tough material for durability.
