MIP introduce the Pucks Shiny drive system for the X-Factory X-6 Cubed buggy. The “Shiny” kit provide all the speed, acceleration, and replaceable Pucks made to handle the abuse of the Modified racing. The special design of the drivesahfts provides smoother acceleration and better handling out of turns without adding additional weight. The X-6 Cubed specific set included MIP’s shiny driveshafts, wheel axles, Pucks-compatible outdrives, new diff rings and diff balls, a thrust race assembly, and a new diff gear as well as several small parts, grease and thread lock.

MIP introduce the wrench wraps, a simple solution to colour-code different size wrenches. Available for 0.9mm to 3.0mm and .050″ to 1/8″ tools, the stickers are of different colours and clearly sport the respective size to mark MIP’s own line of tools. To colour code the wrenches simply wrap the sticker around the tool shaft and protect it using the included transparent shrink tube. Beside being available separately there also come two sets including the most used metric or imperial sizes.

MIP now have the Pucks Shiny drive system for the Kyosho RT6 stadium truck available. The set makes use of MIP’s own Pucks system that greatly reduces outdrive and driveshaft wear by using special composite cushions, called pucks, instead of conventional drive pins to connect the outdrives and driveshafts. The pucks also make for a smoother drivetrain action both for stock and modified racing. The “Shiny” system comes with captured C-CVA dogbones, RT6-style wheel axles, new outdrives, diff rings and diff gear, as well as an assortment of MIP grease and thread lock.

The kit makes use of MIP’s own Pucks system that greatly reduces outdrive and driveshaft wear by using special composite cushions, called pucks, instead of conventional drive pins to connect the outdrives and driveshafts. The pucks also make for a smoother drivetrain action both for stock and modified racing. The “Shiny” system comes with two silver-colour CVA dogbones, new outdrives, pucks, a new thrust race, diff spring and diff screw as well as an assortment of MIP grease and thread lock.

MIP Bypass1 12mm Team Tuned kits

MIP have two new Bypass1 Team Tuned kits for TLR and Kyosho 12mm big bore shock absorbers available. Included in the kits are all-new pistons that feature a new design that provides much more initial pack and overall flow than its predecessor. The pack and flow equates to a car that packs like a normal piston but recovers much quicker and flows more efficiently than previously experienced. Available for Team Losi Racing and Kyosho 12mm shocks the kits include #3/blue, #4/matte and #5/brown valves along four Team Tuned pistons, washers and other small parts.

MIP Cougar KR & SV2 Mod Puck driveshaft system

MIP introduce their new Mod Puck driveshafts for the Schumacher Cougar KR and SV2. Based around the company’s C-CVD driveshafts the design does away with the usual small diameter drive pins on the differentials side of the shafts in favour of a cushion system that increased the contact patch on the outdrives for less wear and longer time between rebuilds. The orange colour plastic cushions are easy to change when they start to wear while the steel outdrives and driveshafts remain like new. Included with the set come C-CVD shafts, wheel axles, pucks, a thrust race and the Puck system outdrives along all needed hardware and a set of chemicals. MIP will soon also have sets for Team Associated, TLR, Kyosho, X Factory, Serpent, Hobby Pro, Yokomo, Durango and Team C vehicles available.

MIP introduce the Super Ball Diff kit for Pro-Line’s Pro-2 2WD short course truck kit. The differential will supply the truck with more traction in the corners and greatly increase handling on dirt and clay tracks. It fits the Pro-2 truck kit and the Pro-Line Performance Transmission and with the diff set including all needed parts such as chrome steel diff and thrust bearing balls, lubes and greases.

MIP announce new Race Duty CVD driveshaft kits for wide range of Traxxas vehicles. The Race Duty CVD axles sport the light weight features of the small steel shaft CVDs combined with the heavy duty X-duty features making the steel driveshafts ideal for “racing conditions” using 2S LiPo battery packs. Different versions for Traxxas Slash and Nitro Rustler, Slash 4×4 as well as Rustler-VXL based vehicles are available, all of which are drop-fit solutions including all needed hardware, grease and thread lock.
