Mugen Seiki MTC2 FWD 1/10 touring car

Following the successful launch of the MTC2 electric touring car, Mugen Seiki have announced the MTC2 FWD. The kit is based off the MTC2 touring car and uses the same high-quality materials and parts. Ronald Völker was instrumental in the testing and development of the MTC2 FWD. The car has a mid-front motor layout and uses a lot of parts from the MTC2 electric touring car. The focus when designing and testing the MTC2 FWD was to get the best weight distribution along with reaching the weight limits for this class. Another focus was to maximise the number of interchangeable parts from the MTC2 to the MTC2 FWD which is key for racers, hobby shops, and dealers. The main chassis features multiple flex options as well as spots to mount additional weight while the one piece upper deck also offers multiple flex options as well as the possibility to use huge size pinions. The car comes standard with a 42gram front weight sitting under the front differential as well as a 85gram bumper weight with the possibility to add three additional 10gram weights. The rear of the car sports a body mount with horizontal body posts as well as vertical ones while the front comes with included body stoppers with additional spacers for use with FWD type bodyshells.

RC Maker MTC2 brass roll centre shim plates

RC Maker have introduced their all new brass roll centre shim plates for the Mugen MTC2. Changing roll centres on your MTC2 has never been easier, rather than undoing the whole screw and having shims flying everywhere, simply loosen the screw, slide the shim plate out, and install the new roll centre shim plate, and re-tighten the screws. With the ever demanding focus on weight distribution and adding additional weight down low on the mid motor platforms, they decided to produce brass shim plates in the most common thicknesses used today, 1.5mm, 2.0mm and 2.5mm. This gives you a great range of roll centre options to choose from, whilst being able to move weight around your car to adjust the front/rear weight bias.

DeadFly MTC2 iBrace & iBrace SL

For the Mugen MTC2, the DeadFly iBrace and iBrace SL is a centre line rear brace, that alters the rotation characteristics of the car. Using both screws gives the most stable rear end stability and lest steering. By using just one front screw and a set screw in the rear hole, the I-Brace gives a spring effect on the chassis. Allowing more steering and rotation, but with more rear stability than no brace at all. Available in the standard and slim line (SL) versions they are both machined from 3mm brass.

MSE Performance Parts straight plate & tweak stick

The MSE Performance Parts straight plate is made to assemble all bulkheads aline to the chassis centre line. It connects not only left and right but also front and rear. It is easy to use even in between runs. It helps for a proper assembly and prevents any unusual behave of the car. It is recommended to use in combination with the tweak stick. The MSE Performance Parts Carbon Tweak Stick is made to pin the car down onto a flat surface with one hand, while tightening the upper deck screws with the other hand. This process will take out chassis tweak and prevents any unusual behave of the car. It is recommended to use in combination with the straight plate.
