Elliott Boots renews with Reds Racing

Italian company Reds Racing announce the re-signing of Elliott Boots for another two years through to 2016. The Kyosho front runner and 2012 IFMAR Worlds top qualifier has the following to say about the deal:

I have been very pleased with the fantastic support from Reds Racing in 2014, on and off track. The engines have been so good this year and with the personal track support from Mario and Marco which has been fantastic. Looking forward to 2015/16 with Reds Racing.

Marka BD7 floating fan mount & black drive cups

Italian company Marka Racing have two new aluminium option parts for the Yokomo BD7 2014 and BD5 available in the form of a floating fan mount and black front spool drive cups. Starting with the fan mount, the CNC-machined 7075 aluminium part offers a special design that minimises the influence on the chassis tweak as only one screw is used to fix the mount to the main chassis plate. The black anodised holder is usable with most of today’s 25mm, 30mm, 35mm and 40mm fans, it weights in at only 2.3g and comes with mounting hardware. The sturdy design allows to mount smaller 25mm and 30mm fans with only one screw to minimise weight gain while larger 35mm and 40mm fans should be fixed with two screws. The part is a direct fit on BD7 2014 and BD5 cars but using the mount on a 2015 spec car requires a mooting hole to be drilled by your own.

Gravity RC Propel Can Black Edition

Gravity RC’s propel can, a rechargeable spray canister, is now also available in a special black edition. Coming as complete assemblies with one rebuild kit and four straws and nozzles as well as upgrade kit with black can, upper cap and new valve with straw and nozzle the canister is an alternative to commonly used motor sprays and cleaners. The canister gives a similar feel and result to motor spray during use and it can be refilled with less humanly toxic and more environmentally friendly chemicals by yourself.

Alpha Dragon II 1/8th buggy engine

Coming soon from Alpha is the Dragon II Worlds Edition nitro off-road engine. No exact details are known yet but the engine is meant to offer more stable idling, easier carburettor tuning and good bottom, middle and top end speed. We bring you more information as we get them.

More details on Bittydesign's new carpet TC body

Following a first teaser image Italian company Bittydesign have released a first proper photo of their forthcoming carpet-specific 190mm bodyshell. Coming with a BMW-ish front end design and a roof line that reminds on the popular Mazda 6 the body is purpose designed for carpet racing and it will be officially released at the end of this month.

Andy Moore renews contract with HB-HPI

HB announce that Andy Moore has signed with HB for another 2 years, to the end of 2016. Andy has been a core member of the on-road racing team since he first joined Team HB and showed his commitment to racing excellence when he gained the ultimate accolade, winning the IFMAR ISTC World Championship in 2006. He is one of the longest-serving members of team HB, and will race the HB Pro 5, R10 and R8 in 2015 and beyond. Here is what Andy has to say about the deal:

I’m extremely happy to be announcing my 2 year contract extension with HB-HPI Racing which will see us working together on- and off-track through until the next On-Road World championships in Beijing, China. Having been a major part of the design, test and development side of our new Pro 5 project, its going to be fun to see customers out there on track after the release and as always Ill be on hand to offer help and support to any racers who need it. Thanks again to Tatsuro Watanabe and Hiro Kasuya for their continued support. See you all at the track.
