OCM Racing Kaos DT-19T

Our mates Rube Dude have the first studio pics of the soon to be released OCM Kaos DT-19T, that we showed you last week. This car is now ready for release and will include all the innovative features we have come to expect from OCM in their buggy range but it will sport a few others. The Diffs on this baby will be nice and solid from what we understand sporting 6mm diff output shafts and large sun gear that is 2.5mmx11.8mm.Â And of course OCM uses the finest aircraft grade alloys and hard anodising on all its parts so this truggy will not only be turning heads but should also be very competitive.

Hazlewood wins Rd2 BRCA Rally X Nats

Hazlewood wins Rd2 of BRCA Nats

Xray have a report on their site from the second round of the BRCA nationals for 1/8th off road, held last weekend at the EMORC astroturf track, which due to the tracks high grip nature, all cars present adopted a very stiff setup to prevent the car grip rolling. Qualifying was headed by Associated RC8 racer and round 1 winner Neil Cragg who qualified ahead of Team Magic driver David Crompton with Hobao racer Graham Alsop in 3rd. In the race it looked as though Cragg had it in the bag as he began to pull away from the battle behind him between Cromption, Alsop and Xray driver Hazlewood, but steering problems started to cause Cragg to slip up which dropped him down the order and left the lead fall to the chasing pack. The final was decided by pit stops with Crompton stopping later than Hazlewood, the Xray driver could snatch the lead on the final stop and win by a few seconds ahead of Crompton with Alsop in 3rd.

Futaba T3CVS 3-Channel 2.4GHz System

We have written about the 2.4GHz FASST system from Futaba before when it released its 3PM pistol grip radio back in February. Well now for those racers that dont use pistol grip radios, Futaba have released the T3CVS stick radio, which comes with the FASST system and is packed with all the features you would expect from a high end radio, all of which you can read below.

RB Products – New combo packs

RB Products new combo packs

French engine maker, RB Products, have announced 2 new engine combo packs for off road racers. The first combo pack contains their S7 MSC, which uses the latest RB Concept .21 new line-up technology and comes complete with the 92mm polished inline manifold and 2045 polished tuned pipe. The second combo pack contains the S3II which comes with the 11 fin cooling head along with the 2020P pipe and the 198mm manifold which provides smooth acceleration and improved drivability for a very affordable price.

Ciccarello & D’Agnolo win the 2007 Canadian Challenge

Ciccarello & D'Agnolo win Canadian Challenge

Calandra Racing Concepts are reporting on their site about their teams latest wins at the 2007 Canadian Challenge race. Paul Ciccarello, who reecntly won the Fastcats race in January, showed great pace once more to take the 19T race win, driving his CRC Carpet Knife Gen-X. In the stock class it was oval specialist Pete D’Agnolo that took the Stock class TQ and race win, proving that he is pretty quick on road courses too.

Diggity Designs Academy SBV2 parts

Diggity Designs, the US based company best known for its great 1/12th scale conversions have released this performance upgrade pack for the Academy SBV2 4wd buggy. The kit includes 3mm Quasi CF front and rear shock towers, 3mm Quasi CF Center Chassis Stiffener, 3mm Quasi CF Front Pin Brace, 3mm Quasi CF “race” Battery Brace, hardware and stickers.
