MonacoRC Race of Champions #2 – Announcement

MonacoRC are happy to announce another Race of Champions event. This event will be held at the beautiful Club Automodellistico 5 Colli in Gubbio, Italy during the weekend of August 13-14. The event will be the perfect opportunity for final preparations for the upcoming IFMAR World Championships, which is to be held in September. MonacoRC’s 2nd ever Race of Champions will be run with the official IFMAR controlled tire and additive from Hot Race, to try and simulate the conditions of the WC event. They are welcoming drivers in the categories of TC stock and modified, as well as Formula. More info at the below link soon.

Infinity 0.75mm aluminium spacers

Creation Model have added to their line up of Infinity aluminium spacers with the addition of these 0.75mm thickness versions. This in between size allows for more precise setups with the silver colour used to easily distinguish them from 0.5mm and 1.0mm thickness spacers which are black and red respectively. Sold in a pack of 10 pieces.

Xpress multi function shock repair/service tool

Xpress have released this multi function shock repair/service tool which simplifies the process and makes your life easier without having to use multiple different tools to rebuild or build new shocks. Different large diameter grips for you to screw the top cap on with both big bore and narrow bore shocks if your car still runs them. Easily measure shaft length with the marked steps at the tip of the tool. Incorporating the most used lengths so you can ensure all four shocks are of equal length for more consistent handling. Besides building shocks, they have included 4mm and a 5mm hole to hold the battery connector plug in place so you can easily solder the wire to the connector without risk damage to your battery. A steel extension is built into the middle section to aid with installing balls to your links and shocks, Line your link to the hole corresponding to the ball size and you can easily remove the ball. Last but not least, is a stepped measuring section for easily setting the rebound of your shock when placing the diaphragm back on.

Rêve D aluminium adjustable servo horn

This lightweight and super rigid split servo horn from Rêve D can adjust the distance from the centre of the servo horn to the rod end ball steplessly from 19mm to 23mm with just one screw. It is possible to instantly adjust the lever ratio according to the servo speed and counter timing. There are two types of spline fitting, 25T (for servos such as Futaba and Rêve D) and 23T (for servos such as Sanwa and KO) so that you can choose according to the servo manufacturer you are using. A secure clamp method is used for mounting the horn and can be firmly fixed.

Surpass Hobby Thunder 540 drift car motors

Surpass Hobby have released their line of Thunder 540 Sensored Brushless motors for drift car. The motor comes with pre mounted quick disconnect and plug-in connectors, which makes it quick and convenient to remove and replace the motor. More efficient internals and special can design mean that the high power output temperatures are reduced by 5% compared to the previous generation. The stator is made of 0.2mm silicon steel sheet, with an efficiency conversion rate of 94% and super oversized front bearing give high load carrying capacity and reduced resistance for a more smooth and durable motor. Available in 3 different colours, black, red and purple.

Ruddog Racing RNX22.3 offroad competition engine

Never resting on their success, the engineers behind the Ruddog RNX21.3 nitro engine have revised the engine in several crucial areas to provide customers with an even more reliable, economic and powerful package. The RNX22.3 features a new backplate, combined with proven ceramic bearings. While retaining basic features such as DLC coating and tungsten balancing weights, the crankshaft was redesigned to increase reactivity. Together with the new revised 3-port sleeve to improve air flow in both the boost and exhaust sections and offers more torque throughout the engine’s wide power band. The updated carburettor ensures smooth and economic operation and, as before, temperatures are held in check by a full-size gold anodised cooling head.

Serpent Medius X20 ‘23 EP touring car

Serpent have introduced their latest, and they claim best, EP touring car yet, the X20 ‘23. New and improved suspension front and rear geometry help improve the car’s rotation. Featuring a beautifully engineered aluminium rear diff, along with a completely newly designed rear upper arm link setup provides increased adjustability.
