Power HD servos for Nedrebo

Power HD has announced its support of new European 1:12 Vice Champion Mathias Nedrebo, the Norwegian official joining the servo manufacturer’s international team line-up. The multiple Nordic and Norwegian National Champion in both Touring Car and 1:12 claimed 2nd place at the European Championships in Messina, Italy. last month behind his Xray team-mate & record breaking 9-time champion Alexander Hagberg. Aiming to continue to impress on the international stage, Nedrebo will use the Power HD GTS-2 and M8H servos as part of his 2026 race program.

Phend & Lemieux wins ROAR Dirt National titles

Xray pairing Dakotah Phend and Chase Lemieux are the 2026 ROAR 1:10 Dirt National Champions after winning the 2WD and 4WD Mod Buggy titles respectively at SDRC Raceway in San Diego over the weekend. Coming into the annual event as the reigning 4WD Champion, it was Phend who secured the 2WD TQ honours over the four rounds of qualifying ahead of Team Associated’s Aydin Horne, Spencer Rivkin and Davey Batta with defending champion Brennan Schimmel ending up back in P7. From the front Phend would win the opening two A-Main to secure the title with A3 winner Horne and Rivkin completing the podium ahead of Schummel who got up to fourth overall. Fresh from claiming his first ever ROAR National title last month in 2WD Buggy at Carpet Offroad Nationals at Maximus R/C Raceway in New Hampshire, Lemieux would claim the 4WD TQ on tie break from the Schumacher of Broc Champion, both driver having two TQ runs each. Phend, Rivkin, and Batta completed the top half of the 10-car A-Main grid. Winning a very close A1 from 2WD World Champion Champlin, Lemieux repeated the win in A2, this time ahead of Rivkin, to claim his second National title. Winning A3 from Rivkin, Champlin finished runner up ahead of the 2015 & 2019 World Champion with Phend missing out on the podium.

T-Works X5B Carbon Shock Towers with Short Standoffs

Continuing to roll out option parts for the Hong Nor X5B 1:8 Buggy, T-Works introduces these front & rear Carbon Fibre Shock Towers with short standoffs. Replacing te aluminium kit included towers, they are produced from 5mm carbon fibre sheet and paired with 2mm shortened aluminium shock standoffs. This helps achieve dual optimisation of lightweight and low centre of gravity, enhancing handling stability.

Xray GTX8’27 1:8 Nitro GT

Having presented their latest electric 1:8 GT platform last week, Xray has now unveiled the 2027 model of its GTX8 Nitro GT car. The GTX8’27 from the Slovakian manufacturer gets the same all-new flat 3mm aluminium chassis design with completely flat profile, including side sections, eliminating the traditional front kick-up. Unique features to the new nitro version include a 2-piece aluminium centre 2-speed bulkhead for quick & easy servicing and for more effective braking there is a single-disc brake system with piston design. Another significant update, the previous kit update being the 2024 model, is the lowered radio box with carbon battery & receiver covers.

Serpent SRX8 Gen4 1:8 Nitro Buggy

Serpent has announced the release of their new SRX8 Gen4 1:8 Nitro Buggy. Designed by Billy Easton, the Gen4 introduces a newly designed chassis and side pods which by reducing the overall width of the platform lowers the total vehicle weight, while creating a more compact and centralised layout. This approach results in a near-perfect left-to-right balance, improving consistency and predictability of the vehicle during demanding race conditions. Serpent say the narrower profile contributes to improved agility and responsiveness on the track, allowing the vehicle to feel more nimble and precise during high-speed cornering and direction changes. A major engineering advancement of the Serpent SRX8 Gen4 is the completely redesigned centre differential assembly. This new system was developed to address several key areas including serviceability, Differential performance, overall weight distribution, and braking feel. Based on feedback from racers using the previous SRX8 Pro platform, the development team focused on simplifying maintenance while improving the overall functionality and efficiency of the drive-train. With the Gen4 Serpent introduces the new Geo-Matrix Suspension Geometry System — a precision insert platform designed to deliver unmatched setup flexibility and repeatability. An all-new suspension bracket platform is designed to deliver reduced weight, increase durability and unmatched setup precision. Completely redesigned from the ground up, the new brackets feature, 7075-T6 lightweight design and are finished in durable black anodising with distinctive machined silver edges for a premium look and exceptional strength.

Team Associated TC28 Team Kit

Having entered the 1:28 racing scene last July with the release of the RC28, Team Associated has just announced the TC28 Team Kit. The key feature of the 4WD belt driven TC28 is its independent front and rear suspension. The kit also includes constant velocity driveshafts, mid-motor configuration with equal length belts, fluid filled gear differentials with height and belt tension adjustment and a front and rear anti-roll bar. Like the RC28, it is based on a steel chassis plate to provide a low centre of gravity while the insert adjustable roll centre enables chassis roll adjustment based on the grip level. With the TC28 Team Kit you also get white wheels and a Mako X2 body shell from category specialist body shel producer Radbody.

Revolution Design B84 DJ Front Driveshaft Set

New from Revolution Design comes this DJ Front Driveshaft Set specifically engineered for the Team Associated B8 and which is also offered in a lightweight option intend for Stock Class racing. The Double Joint (DJ) driveshafts eliminate front-end vibrations at full steering lock, providing a noticeably smoother and more consistent feel on the track. For Modified Class racing the shafts are built to handle the massive power of modern modified motors while maintaining a slim weight of just 23 grams per pair. The Lightweight Front Driveshaft Set complete with ‘Stock’ branding is specially optimised for 10.5T and 13.5T Stock Racing. Weighing in at only 21 grams per pair, 2 grams lighter than the standard version, these shafts further reduce rotating mass at the front axle. This results in snappier acceleration and maximum drivetrain efficiency.

Mardave VRX Halo Circuit Rod

1:12 Mini kit manufacturer Mardave has released an updated version of its VRX Hotrod Circuit car, the new VRX Halo. The new version of the popular Hotrod circuit car comes after many years and requests for an update. Mardave was the starter of the most popular GT12 class and also started the very popular Mini class with the new VRX Halo Circuit Rod the MD-26’s big brother. The car comes with a new 3mm GRP Chassis, new Trailing Arm Front Suspension with caster wedges included, side spring damper system, and Lipo sliders for battery position changes. Also new is an Adjustable roll centre pod, and High Spec Axle Bearing set. The kit will come in GRP with a Pro version in CSC Carbon set for release in July.
