Pro-Line Pro-MT 1/10th 2WD monster truck kit

Pro-Line introduce the Pro-MT 1/10th scale 2WD monster truck kit. Based off of the Pro-2 short course truck platform the truck features a 3mm 7075 aluminium chassis and the new Performance HD Transmission with all-metal gears for improved durability when using 2S and 3S brushless setups. Also included with the partly pre-assembled kit are PowerStroke aluminium shock absorbers, the ProTrack suspension kit, Pro-Spline HD driveshafts and Trencher 2.8″ tyres on F-11 wheels. The package is rounded out by a Sentinel clear truck body and the Secure-Loc body mounts.

New Pro-Line merchandise

Pro-Line have new merchandise available in the form of a World Championship T-shirt, the Legacy trucker Snapback hat, printed micro fibre towels, and several new sticker sets. Starting with the T-shirt, it is made to celebrate Pro-Line’s 12 World Championship titles and it was first seen at the World Championships in Italy. The blue T-shirt features a soccer inspired Italian theme with a Stars and Stripes shield on the front and Worlds Team emblazoned on the back. The shirt is available in adult S to XXL sizes.

Pro-Line 1/8th Trifecta lexan wing pack

Debuting at the recent IFMAR 1/8th Nitro World Championships in Italy with World Championship results, Pro-Line’s 1/8th Trifecta lexan wing is destined to give drivers another setup and fine-tuning option. From the mind of World Champion and Pro-Line team driver Ty Tessmann, the wing brings a huge amount of weight savings to the highest part of the buggy and massively lowers the car’s centre of gravity. This results in faster corner speeds and reduces the chance of traction rolling when faced with high-bite track conditions. The wing design follows the tradition set by the 1/10th buggy wing and features 3 strengthening ribs and 3 dimples that hang down on each side creating a “golf ball aerodynamic effect” under the wing for added down force and reduced high speed drag.

Pro-Line Electron SC tyres & Pro-2 carbon battery brace

Previously only available for 1/10th buggies, Pro-Line now also make the Electron tyre tread available for short course trucks. The dedicated indoor tyre shares family ties with the Ion tyre and features a web-type tread for balanced forward traction and side bite even in dusty conditions. Fitting all 2.2″/3.0″ SC wheels the Electron comes in Pro-Line’s super soft M4 and clay MC compound including blue closed cell inserts.

Pro-Line pre-cut Phantom bodyshells

Pro-Line introduce pre-cut versions of their popular Phantom bodyshells for the 1/8th scale MBX7 and 8ight 3.0 as well as the B44.2, B5 and B5M 1/10th scale buggies. The bodyshells reduce preparation time as the often fiddly cutting has already been done by the factory. All are made from high quality polycarbonate, come clear and include an additional rear fin for added straight-line stability while the 1/10th bodies also come with a pre-cut Trifecta rear wing.

Pro-Line B-Max4 Phantom body & B5 front towers

Also new from Pro-Line is this Phantom body for the Yokomo B-Max4 III designed by team driver driver Lee Martin. It features a stealthy cab forward look and sweeping body lines that flow back to a single point while an optional centre fin adds additional high speed stability and finishes off the design. Also new for the Associated B5 are carbon fibre front shock tower with aluminium ball stud mounts! The carbon fibre shock tower adds stiffness for improved shock action as well as durability to an area that takes a lot of abuse while the gun metal anodized aluminium ball stud mounts give added style and precision. Available in a wide version for the B5 and a narrow version for the B5M

Pro-Line Fugitive, Stunner SC & other tire updates

Seen at the recent 1/8th Euros, Pro-Line’s all-new Fugitive is a super long wear high performance tire made up of small, tightly packed pins that can handle the abuse of being run on concrete. When combined with Pro-Line’s X-Compound, the Fugitive has a great performance to cost ratio making it perfect for many European style tracks. The new Stunner SC tire combines the best features of the Tazer, Sniper and Blockade SC tires into one incredible tire. The center tread design of the Stunner is perfect for dusty and loamy outdoor tracks and the outer tread creates more aggressive side bite for consistent handling in loose conditions. Pro-Line have also released their Electron 1/10th tire for 2.2” wheels having previously only been available for mounting on VTR wheels. For truggy, PL’s popular Hole Shot VTR and Blockage VTR tires are now also available in X-Compound. Finally there are new Velocity VTR 4wd Hex front wheels for the Kyosho ZX5/6 and the TLR 22-4 buggies.

Pro-Line Trifecta wing & off-road car stands

Pro-Line have more off-road related accessories to offer in the form of the Trifecta 1/8th rear wing and car stands for buggies and trucks. Starting with the wing, the part was first seen at this year’s ROAR Fuel Offroad Nationals and it is designed to greatly improve rear traction and high-speed stability. Sculptured in an aggressive, futuristic design with large centre fins the wing can be equipped with your choice of a small or large wickerbill to fine-tune the performance. Underneath the main plate of the wing there are three dimples that hang down on each side creating a “golf ball aerodynamic effect” which increases low speed down force and reduces high speed drag. Suitable for 1/8th buggies and trucks the wing is available in yellow, black or white colour.
