AKA 1/10th buggy 2wd FR closed cell insert

Seen during our coverage of the Nuremberg Toy Fair, AKA have released their new 1/10th buggy 2wd front closed cell insert. This insert was designed to decrease the lateral deflection of the tire while at the same time increasing the vertical impact absorption therefore providing better handling in the bumps. The lateral grooves allow the insert to flex vertically to absorb the large impacts while still maintaining lateral stability and overall durability AKA inserts are known for. The result is a more predictable handling car without giving up durability.

The Serpent 411-FF pre production cars have already won races in Indonesia and Hong Kong, and the cars will be run at the TITC in Thailand as well.

Xray 41T narrow 64P pinion gear

Xray have released a 41T pinion to their already available line of narrow 64P pinion gears. Manufactured on a precision gear machine which has ultra-precise tolerances and assures unparalleled concentricity, after machining, the edges of pinions are chamfered and then the pinions are run in. The pinions are then specially treated to give them an even hard coating so they stay absolutely true for a long time. The pinions run great with any spur gears, and work perfectly with Xray spur gears where even throttle on/off noise nearly disappears.
