JConcepts 1979 Ford F-250 Ranger SCT body

Officially licensed by Ford, JConcepts introduces the 1979 Ford F-250 Ranger SCT body. Built as they were in the good ole days, JConcepts has brought an essence of the 1979 truck together with the latest offerings in competitive Short Course Racing. With detailed 70’s styling, the hood scoop immediately is a standout retro feature which lends itself to the grill, fender and authentic 70’s cab styling. JConcepts left no detail untouched on bringing this old / new theme to the SCT crowd and most notably the rear roll bars and front to back horizontal body lines that give the “79” unmatched SCT realism. Like all JConcepts bodies, performance is always a top priority and the 1979 does not stop short in performance. CSO MRX-5 aluminum option parts

CSO have released a whole load of new 7075 T6 aluminium parts for the Mugen MRX-5. The new products include front upright upper middle points, front upright arms, rear lower damper stays, rear wheel quick change lever and finally a hard coated lightweight 2-speed shaft adapter, which weighs in at only 2.6 grams making is lighter than the original.

KM H-K1 blue clutch shoe

KM Racing have introduced this new blue clutch shoe for use with their H-K1 200mm chassis. The new material is more durable than the standard version and is best suited to high speed tracks.

Team Powers HD body supports

Team-Powers have released a new update of their high downforce aluminium body supports, suitable for all touring cars. They are designed to help increase rear traction and are best suited to low or normal traction conditions. In stock competition they can allow the use of less rear toe-in to increase top-end speed. Sold in a pair they are available in Tamiya blue and black colours.

JConcepts Bar Code V2 & Rips tires

JConcepts are attending the Winter Indoor Shootout at Long Island Raceway in Farmingdale, NY where they will be debuting some tires for the 2wd buggy class. For the rear there are new Bar Code V2 tires, while up front there are these new Rips ribbed tires. We have no further information on these new products but we are sure Jason will release some details in the coming days.

Nitrosisters Xray X10 235mm conversion kit

Nitrosisters have released this 235mm conversion kit for the Xray X10 200mm chassis. Supplied with lightweight hub extensions and made of 7075-T6 aluminium, they key into the hubs for a precise, wobble free fit every time and also have a locating ring for the wheel to centre on. Each hub extension is 15mm wide, bringing your stock Xray X10 to 230mm which allows the driver to tune the rear track width with shims to get just the right width for the body of choice. The wide front end plate included two sets of front end holes, the inner set is for 200mm bodies while the outer set is for bodies with wheelbase from 220mm till 225mm. The included adjustable turnbuckles are made of titanium.

CRC 2011 LiPo pack line-up

Calandra Racing Concepts has been very busy in the lab brewing up some powerful LiPo packs for 2011. All the batteries are specially built to their high standards of performance and durability. They mold their own cases, layup the lithium polymer chemical and assemble the cells to produce race winning packs that out perform all others, on the track and on the test machines. Unlike the many sticker manufactures that simply re-label some off the shelf LiPo cell, they make performance batteries, not just decals. The new line-up includes a 6300mAh 50C 3.7V 1S pack, a 5600mAh 65C 3.7V 1S pack, a 5600mAh 65C 7.4V 2S pack and finally a low price 6100mAh 55C pack which is pre wired with deans connector. All packs are ROAR approved.

New for the H-K1, KM Racing have introduced this all aluminium hex type servo saver. Machined from high quality aluminium and anodised gold, the new system offers longer life and reliability over the standard plastic version. The set includes the bearing shaft, both upper and lower servo saver parts and spring.
