Capricorn LAB-E01 2011 version & KEL850 treated muffler

Capricorn have announced the 2011 version of their .12 touring car engine. The new version comes with a large head and underhead, optional on the WC edition engine, but which has been used by Martin Christensen to take victory at this year’s Euros. The new additions allow for a higher running temperature and the use of a hot glow plug. Capricorn have also released this KEL850 treated Novarossi 2660 Muffler. This new treatment will replace the original hard coated version as it can be used on any kind of aluminium, not only ergal. This new ceramic-titanium treatment gives incredible hardness up to 65 Rockwell and results in higher durability and performance of the muffler as well as optimal resonance. JConcepts Punisher for LRP S8-BXR Evo

JConcepts have released this Punisher body shell for the LRP S8-BXR Evo buggy. The slight cab-forward treatment is amongst the most aggressive in class giving the Punisher top notch performance. Blended wing / body design gives additional down-force to the side-pods and windshield which increases drivability, corner speed and jump control. The rear base of the cab area represents the latest offering for 1/8th buggy racing featuring a super low profile design for increased engine cooling, air flow and escape.

KM Racing 17mm body reamer

KM Racing have introduced this 17mm lexan body reamer to add to their line up of racing tools. Featuring a red anodised and machined finish for good grip and looks, it is supplied with a protective cover that is threaded to ensure it wont come off.

ROAR outlaw ribbed front tires for SC competition

ROAR has amended the tire rules in the Short Course category to specifically exclude the use of ribbed front tires. Use of ribbed front tires is inconsistent with a category that has achieved most of its popularity on the basis of scale appearance. Therefore, ROAR has decided not to allow use of this type of tire on this basis.

CSO MRX-5 clutch bell & adjustment tool

CSO have released some new clutch parts for the Mugen MRX-5. This clutch bell is made from hard coated high quality 7075 T6 aluminium which results in a lighter part than the original at only 3.7 grams. For adjusting the clutch CSO have released a useful and convenient external clutch adjusting tool. Made of chromed aluminium it makes tuning the clutch spring easy. Available in 2 colours, black and Mugen silver.

Frank Hättich retains VRC World title

Frank Hättich from Germany has done it again, winning the 2010 1:10 World Championships after nailing 161 laps (45:00.881) in just one try. The event hosted 370 international racers running a total of 4889 individual race sessions, making it one of the biggest RC events in history.

KM Racing H-K1 4mm shock tower

KM Racing have released this new front shock tower for their H-K1 200mm chassis. Made from 4mm thick carbon fibre the new tower adds additional rigidity to the front of the car.
