Edit RC Pro Series Tools

Edit RC are the latest company to have their own range of tools with the release of these high quality, professionally designed and precisely manufactured Edit Pro Series tools. A range of the most popular sizes required for a full tear down and rebuild of any type of RC racing machine is available, all with precision-ground replaceable tips and large stylish handles which have been laser-etched with the Edit RC logo. The range comprises of Allen tips – 1.5mm (shown), 2.0mm, 2.5mm & 3.0mm, Nut spinners – 5.5mm & 7.0mm as well as a Philips and flat head screw driver.

Hot Bodies Cyclone TC parts

Following the release of the Cyclone TC, which we showed you back in March, Hot Bodies have released the standard TC parts as option parts for the other Cyclone’s in the range. The front and rear bulkheads, as well as the middle block and motor mount are now available and are all purple anodised with the main difference being aesthetic, no longer featuring a chamfered edge. For performance improvements there are the new shock bodies for smoother shock action, while new front and rear graphite wishbones give an extra lower shock mount. Finally, there is the Cyclone TC sway bar holder that includes everything you need to upgrade to this new system with the exception of the anti-roll bar.

Team Orion Platinum II 5000mAh LiPo

Team Orion have released the Platinum II, a 5000mAh 7.4V LiPo pack, the latest in their already extensive line-up. The 20C cells are once more made by Kokam, and they have been mounted in a rugged impact-resistant protective case, while for further protection the pack has an integrated fuse that protects it in the event of any problems that may occur. The Platinum II features a balancer connection and is supplied with two 4mm gold connectors and a Tamiya plug mounted cable.

Kawada M300RSX 1/12th scale V2

Kawada have announced the follow up to their successful M300RSX 1/12th scale chassis, with the release of the Version 2. With most updates centred around the rear of the car, the new features include an updated 1/4″ rear ball diff, a new motor mount suitable for brushless motors and a new motor mount support that adds stiffness following the removal of the top carbon plate seen on the previous version. Finally, for improving the handling, there is a newly designed rear upper brace as well a high traction carbon fibre chassis plate.

DiMonaco RC Fox 3021 muffler

New from DiMonaco, under the RC Fox label, is this EFRA legal #3021 muffler, updated to 2008 specifications from the previous #2064 pipe. This pipe claims to reduce fuel consumption and increase revs in the lower range, while its inline design improves the efficiency of the whole system. Made from a thick and strong material, the stinger has been reinforced to prevent damage in an impact.

French company B-Tech RC have released this convienient Pit Box, an essential item for at the race track that will allow you to easily carry all the tools necessary to adjust or start your car in the pit lane. Made from aluminium, the pit box is very easy and fast to assemble and is also configurable to the individual user, with options to arrange the tool layout to best suit you and your cars needs.

Atomic RC High Grip Formula tires

Atomic RC have released these new High Grip Formula tires for use on Mini-Z chassis’. Featuring a radial tread pattern, this helps gain more rear grip under acceleration, while swapping the tires to have the tread pattern the opposite direction will give the car a different feeling. Available in 2 high grip models, silicone rubber and normal rubber, these tires have been extensively tested, and work best on carpet and RCP surfaces respectively.

Bittydesign Lipo battery tray

Italian company Bittydesign have introduced a new line of LiPo battery trays, suitable for the use in some of the best 1/10th scale electric touring car chassis’. The entire line has been developed with 2 main targets, to not compromise the original chassis torsion and to keep the central mass as low as possible. Already in production and available for sale in 3 weeks, this is an indispensable product to enable the installation of LiPo batteries on a chassis originally designed to be used with NiMh batteries only.
