RC Maker Digital Caster Gauge Platform for Mi9

New from aftermarket option parts manufacturer RC Maker is this Digital Caster Gauge Platform for the Schumacher Mi9 1:10 Electric Touring Car. This allows you to use an existing digital angle gauge to read the caster on the recently released Mi9. If you have one in camber or caster form from the Awesomatix, you can simply remove the old plate and fasten this new plate onto the caster gauge! It slides on and locates onto the Mi9 with ease, no matter what steering arms you’re using. This allows you to check the caster with or without a setup station attached to the car.

RC Maker SP1 Touring Car – Teaser

RC Maker has just published the first teaser image of its much anticipated 1:10 Electric Touring Car. Ryan Maker, who is behind the well known Australian carbon fibre parts and accessories producer RC Maker, announced his life long ambition to produce his own complete touring car kit at the TITC earlier this year. Racing a well developed prototype of the car at the legendary Bangkok race, Maker has been busy getting the car ready for full production with this image of the car’s suspension the first official image release of the car. Pre-orders and release dates are to be announced in the near future but we can confirm that the image is relative to both the SP1 and SP1-F as they will share the same shock setup etc.

RC Maker MS1.0 Carbon Option Parts

RC Maker, the brand of one of Australia’s leading international touring car racers Ryan Maker, has introduced a number of aftermarket option parts for the recently released Yokomo MS1.0 1:10 Electric Touring Car. The extensive range includes a GeoCarbon Bumper Plate, updated Front Shock Tower and a Rear Body Mount. Additionally they are offering four different options of SlimFlex Carbon Topdeck, the Type 1 and the Type 2 decks offered in 2.0 and 1.6mm thicknesses. Also in its latest product release is a brand new 3D Pro Hood Stiffener, compatible with our GeoCarbon Bumper Mount for Yokomo MS1.0, and a 3D Pro Anti Roll Bar Stopper that works with both the MS1.0 and previous BD12.

RC Maker FlySky Noble GeoCarbon Base

RC Maker has released a new base accessory for the increasingly popular Noble range of radios from FlySky. The GeoCarbon Base for Noble range drastically reduces the weight of your radio when not using the battery base, whilst allowing it to be stood up. The balance can be tuned by inserting one or two optional brass weights to adjust the weight bias of the radio. The Base effortlessly clips on and off for when you need to charge the radio. Anti slip pads in the carbon base stop the radio from sliding around on smooth surfaces. The Base is constructed from 100% Matte 6k Carbon Fibre with RC Maker’s signature GeoCarbon styling and chamfered edges.

Ryan Maker – ‘Using this World stage as a test ground is both the most exciting and nervous thing I have done.’

Growing up I was a huge fan of Formula 1 and always tended to supported the underdogs. Pre-qualifying was my favourite part of the Grand Prix weekend and my favourite team was Zakspeed. That interest in the German team stemmed from an article in an F1 Magazine that compared the Zakspeed team and its budget to that of the all conquering McLaren. In the article it covered how the high cost of wind tunnel testing meant Zakspeed’s small budget forced them to come up with an alternative and they used a water tunnel that was used by boat manufacturers to test hull designs. Racing 1:8 Onroad nitro at the time, in the form of a very basic Team Associated RC250, I was inspired by the Zakspeed story I wanted to build my own R/C car and become a ‘Constructor’.

RC Maker announces its own 1:10 Electric Touring Car

RC Maker, the brand of one of Australia’s leading international touring car racers Ryan Maker, has just official broke the news that it will be producing its own complete 1:10 Electric Touring Car kit. Known worldwide for its carbon fibre and 3D printed option parts for various car brands, the company will now become a bonafide chassis manufacturer with the release of the SP1 Touring Car and SP1-F FWD kits. The car is due for official release in the middle of the year. A multiple Australian National Champion, Maker will debut the car at one of the toughest and most important races after the World Championships, when he races at the legendary TITC in Bangkok next week (Feb 29-Mar 3rd). As part of the build up to our coverage of the TITC, which is presented by Hobbywing, we have an feature coming with Ryan about the race and the journey to becoming racing’s newest touring car manufacturer. RC Maker 3d Pro Hand Sander Sets for body prep

New from RC Maker are their 3d Pro Hand Straight and 3d Pro Hand Wheel Arch Sander Sets for final prep of your racing body shells. Handy little tools for all racers to keep in their pit bag they features a stylish and durable 3d printed design, with quickly changeable sandpaper bases. The Straight Sander is ideal for sanding skirts of bodies, to remove any jagged edges from cutting, or simply to remove some material while the Wheel Arch Sander is ideal for cleaning up those jagged wheel arches to prevent cracks. The arch sander diameter is 64mm, which fits perfectly into all 1:10 Touring Car Wheel Arches with a little breathing room to spare. It can be also used on front and rear 1:8 Onroad Lola & GT Wheel Arches. With easy sandpaper changing, each includes a strip of 120 and 240 grit sandpaper. Replacement sandpaper can be bought at your local hardware store, and should be cut to appropriated sized strips.

RC Maker X4’24 front bulkhead brace sets

RC Maker, the brand of top Australian racer Ryan Maker, has released two different front bulkhead brace set options for the recently launched Xray X4’24 1:10 Electric Touring Car. The X4’24 by design incorporates a lot of front bulkhead flex. The bulkheads flex together under compression of the suspension, or apart under cornering causing inconsistency in the handling and the inability to tune to different tracks, which can now be minimised with these brand new braces/dampeners. Offered is a rigid flex brace set and a flex dampener set, each features two different thickness of 1mm and 2mm for tuning. They attach to underneath the front caster pills directly and the flex dampener set provide consistent dampening (restriction) in both inwards and outwards directions of the flex either on the bulkheads at the very front while the rigid flex brace removes bulkhead flex in both inwards and outwards directions on the front.
