Reedy’s new electronic power switch is a reliable and versatile alternative for 1:8 racers fed up with failure-prone mechanical switches. The LiPo mode option prevents over-discharging your receiver battery, while on-board LEDs serve as a battery capacity indicator displaying real-time state of charge. The lightweight and compact design mounts with double-sided tape or use the included transponder mounting bracket, depending on your desired configuration.

Associated Electrics have introduced the new Reedy SC480X brushes crawler speed controller. Trail tested and proven, the speedo is a simple to use, economical, and powerful ESC for trail truck and crawler enthusiasts. Excellent forward/reverse/brake feel, a wide range of adjustability, and robust hardware make the SC480X suitable for both trail truck and crawler applications. The pre-programmed default ESC settings work very well in most situations, but if owners want access to additional settings for fine-tuning, they can do so using optional Program Card #27034.

Associated Electrics have introduced the new Reedy 1416-C2L Dual AC/DC competition balance charger. The device features a high-performance microprocessor, specialised operating software, and many advanced features make it the perfect charging solution for new hobbyists, casual enthusiasts, or hardcore racers. Simultaneous charging of two batteries at up to 14A is possible thanks to a powerful integrated power supply. Storage of up to 10 different charge profiles per channel allows for easy access to your most commonly used settings. End Voltage Control gives racers an added option to regulate power output and calibrate voltage, while 1S Balance Mode results in accurate voltage readings when charging 1S batteries. Safety has not been overlooked with the 1416-C2L thanks to its lithium-specific charging scheme that requires balance charging in modes appropriate for lithium batteries. Nitro racers haven’t been overlooked thanks to a specific mode designed for single-cell NiMH igniter batteries. Reedy introduce their new HV aluminium motor fans featuring a CNC-machined housing for maximum durability. Silicone lead wires provide extra protection against heat, while a handy 195mm extension cable is simple to install by plugging directly into your receiver where it operates of BEC voltage. Because they feature HV compatibility, they can also be soldered directly to ESC battery terminals when using 2S batteries to achieve maximum RPM and cooling. Available in 30mm and 40mm versions.
New from Reedy are steel under-battery weight sets for both shorty and stick configurations. These weights are the ideal solution for meeting minimum weight requirements, equalising left/right weight distribution, and/or lower the vehicle’s centre of gravity for improved handling. Each set is precision cut from steel with the weight value laser etched onto each piece along with the world-famous Reedy logo. Each set contains three weight options, which can be used individually or combined to achieve the desired result.

Associated Electrics have introduced the new Reedy Zappers SG3 LiHV 1S and 4S batteries. Zappers SG3 batteries feature state-of-the-art LiPo chemistry with an emphasis on lower internal resistance with improved durability and cycle-life. More power, improved durability, and high capacity provide world-class performance. Zappers SG3 batteries feature a 3.8V/cell nominal voltage, which means that the battery can be safely charged to 4.35V/cell. Even when the typical 4.20V/cell charging limit is enforced, Zappers SG3 cells shine thanks to their inherently flat discharge curve, which results in higher voltage deeper into the race. Zappers SG3 batteries are available in several configurations for a variety of on-road and off-road applications. A high quality, durable hard case helps prevent damage while embedded socket connectors keep power-robbing resistance to a minimum. Male ESC connectors are included. New for 2020 are the 1/12th scale specific 8200mAh 85C 3.8V and 6600mAh 115C 3.8V 1S packs as well as the 6400mAh and 5200mAh LP 15.2V 4S packs, the latter are ideal for demanding 1/8th scale applications.
