Rêve D SPM titanium kingpin balls & ball studs

Rêve D have introduced new titanium king pin balls and ball studs out of their SPM Super Precision Machine Cut series. Precision-manufactured from high-quality titanium material for a low weight and exceptional durability the 5.9mm kingpin balls are available as 10mm, 11mm and 12mm variants while the 4.3mm diameter ball studs are available in the most common sizes including 4.5mm, 6.0mm and 8.0mm length and also as a short neck 6.0mm variant. A very smooth ball end area ensures fluid suspension movement and the ball ends are available as pairs from end of March.

Rêve D high-grade carbon fibre effect wrap

Coming from Rêve D is their new high-grade carbon fibre effect wrap. The super real carbon fibre resembling wrap not only looks like real carbon fibre but it also offers a certain texture to further add to the appearance. Printed on a very flexible material the wrap is easily applied even on curved surfaces with additional flexibility available using a hairdryer to pre-warm the sticker. The wrap is ideally used on wings, body panels and mirrors of drift cars but also comes in handy to wrap transponders, receiver and servo cases to make for that ultra-stealthy appearance. The 230x300mm sheet will hit stores very soon.

Rêve D 3mm & 3.5mm steering knuckle stoppers

Rêve D have introduced their new 3.0mm and 3.5mm diameter steering knuckle stoppers for RWD drift cars. Coming as pairs the machined aluminium shafts allow for precise steering end point adjustment, make limiting the overall steering throw easy and preventing the wheel from chattering. A task usually taken by set screw the alloy steering stoppers also look a lot more professional while offering higher precision. The stoppers are available as 2-piece sets and the are the perfect match with Rêve D’s #RD-001 ASL front knuckle and #RD-002 ASL front lower arm.

Rêve D Absolute 1 brushless drift car motor

Following a first teaser image Rêve D from Japan have announced the soon release of their all-new Absolute 1 brushless drift car motor. Developed for the use in high-grip drift car racing, the motor uses an all-aluminium high airflow can for best possible heat dissipation while the setup ensures high top RPM without sacrificing high torque characteristics and a linear throttle feel which is important for racing on P-tile, asphalt and carpet surfaces. The motor will become available in a 10.5T and a 13.5T variant from mid to end of March.

Rêve D introduce new SPM titanium screw line

Rêve D from Japan have introduced their new line of super precision machine cut SPM titanium screws. The titanium fasteners are cut from high-quality material for a low weight and exceptional stability and durability and they are available in several variants including 2-piece servo screw sets, 2-piece motor mount screw kits, a 2-piece wing mount set, as well as 4-piece M2x5mm cap and M4x8mm set screw kits. The servo mount screws allow for secure servo mounting as the 4.3mm diameter flange fits snuggly into most servo case lugs, ensuring the servo will not move under load. The 7mm long motor mount screws allow to fasten the motor without using additional shims as they offer a 7mm head section for improved reliability of the whole assembly. The wing mount screws offer a 7.8mm head diameter and they are of a low-profile design, making them ideal for touring and drift car body shells. The M2x5mm cap head screws are usable for most clamp-type wheel hexes, adding bling when the tyres are off while reducing unsprung weight. Last but not least come the M4x8mm set screws that are usable as droop screws in many applications, reducing unsprung weight and adding corrosion resistance.

Rêve D 7.4V 3700mAh shorty LiPo battery pack

Rêve D have announced the soon release of their new 7.4V LiPo short battery pack. Built from high-quality 100C cells the lightweight 3700mAh battery is ideal for all applications that require a low weight with the 3700mAh capacity still allowing for good run times. The low-profile hardcase pack weighs in at 156g, it measures 93×46.5×18.5mm and it is equipped with 4mm connector tubes and an industry standard 2mm balance connector. While being intended for drift car racing, the pack can also be used for formula, pan car and off-road buggy racing.

Rêve D Absolute 1 drift car motor

Rêve D from Japan have introduced their new Absolute 1 brushless motor for 1/10th RWD drift cars. Available in 10.5T and 13.5T specification the motor features a powerful stator and a high-response rotor, making it ideal for the 2-wheel drive drift car classes. Above motor is still a prototype with the final product hitting stores end of January, beginning of February 2020.

Rêve D RS-ST digital servo & USB programmer

Rêve D have introduced their first products in the form of the RS-ST digital high-torque drift car servo and the RS-PGC USB programming dongle. Starting with the RS-ST servo, it features an IRC motor for super high torque values while offering very smooth operation as it is needed for controllable counter steering angles during competitive drift car driving. An aluminium middle case makes for good heat dissipation while offering a low weight. Due to the servo’s high-torque specification it is 2.5mm taller than usual low-profile types.
