Coming from SWorkz and made for the S35-2E 1/8th E-buggy are three aluminium chassis braces. Made from high-quality 7075-T6 alloy and sporting a grey anodised surface for wear and looks, the parts add more longitudinal stability while reducing flex, which can be beneficial in both bumpy and high-grip track conditions. The braces are available as front, centre and rear variant.

European SWorkz distributors MW RC Cars have released a first teaser image of their forthcoming S35-3 1/8th nitro off-road buggy. No details are known yet but the kit is expected to hit stores early 2017. We bring you more information on features, specifications and a release date as soon as they surface.

MW RC Cars have introduced the new SPower S6 Pro Tuned 3.5cc nitro off-road engine. Manufactured by Picco the power plant is of a 5-port design with multi exhaust system for exceptional bottom end power, something that is crucial for today’s track designs. While offering loads of low-RPM power the engine still develops well balanced mid and top end power and drivability, all combined with stable tuning and high fuel economy. The features list includes a new, balanced and silicone-filled 14mm crankshaft for improved overall performance, a larger, more efficient cooling head, a new crankcase design for better clearance with a range of flywheels as well as a super strong knife edged conrod, lightened piston and a Swiss-made rear bearing. The engine is usable in buggy and truggy racing and it is available now.

Coming soon from SWorkz is their Fox 4×4 1/10th scale all-wheel drive MiniCage buggy. Known for competition 1/8th and 1/10th kits, SWorkz will now also enter the hobby market with what they call a MiniCage buggy. We bring you more information on the project as soon as they become available.

SWorkz have announced the latest addition to their 1/10th electric off-road team in the form of Estonia’s Jörg Tiit. The 1/6th scale European Off-road Champion and multiple 1/12th scale Euros A-main finalist will use the company’s S12-1M and S104 Evo EOS buggies in his forthcoming campaign and he has the following to say about the deal:

SWorkz have announced the addition of Germany’s Micha Widmaier to their 1/10th scale electric off-road team. The German National 1/8th Youth Champion already campaigns the company’s 1/8th scale vehicles and he will now also run SWorkz’ S12-M and S104 Evo buggies. Micha had the following to say about the deal:
After joining SWorkz 1/8 team this season and having great results, I decided switch also in 1/10 to SWorkz. I am very happy with the performance of the SWorkz cars and I am looking forward to having good results here too. SWorkz have announced a change in organisation as Austrian company MW RC Cars and Taiwan-based Speedmster Hobby Co. LTD will take over the SWorkz brand. In the future MW RC Cars will be responsible for strategic planning and sales in Europe and the U.S. while Speedmaster will take care of development and production of the SWorkz kits as well as marketing and sales for the Asian markets.

ProStar R/C have introduced their new Ferodo brake pads for the Team Associated RC8B3, Mugen MBX7 and SWorkz’s line of 1/8th nitro off-road vehicles. The pads are made using genuine Ferodo material to allow for a consistent brake feeling throughout the race. Their design also increases the surface area, resulting in improved stopping power and less heat generated. The set includes four pads and it is available for pre-order now.
