Schumacher Atom rear roll centre conversion & king pins

Schumacher have introduced new Speed Secret option for the Atom 1/12th scale pan car. First up is the rear roll centre conversion kit that offers an adjustable rear roll centre. This gives an ability to adjust the setting from the very low kit standard position up to 2.5mm higher. The raised roll centre gives a more responsive and lively car, ideal in high traction conditions while the lower roll centre position gives more rear traction. The set includes new carbon fibre braces as well as mounting hardware. Also new are the super-polished low friction coefficient king pins for the Atom. Schumacher CAT XLS 1/10th 4WD buggy re-release

Schumacher have released first information on the forthcoming re-release of the 1986 CAT XLS 1/10th scale 4WD buggy. The Schumacher CAT revolutionised off-road racing when it was introduced in 1986, and it became an international success winning British, European, Japanese, Australian, and American championships. It was later updated with a longer wheelbase and in the hands of a certain Masami Hirosaka it won the 1987 1/10th 4WD IFMAR World Championships in Romsey, England. The 2017 kit is a replica of the buggy that won Masami his first in many Worlds titles and it features the Cecil Schumacher invented ball differentials, a unique integrator system offers adjustable torque split between front and rear, and a double wishbone suspension makes for massive (1987-ish) suspension travel. Also included in the re-release kit will be alloy coil over oil filled shock absorbers.

Schumacher Mi6Evo 1/10th touring car kit

Coming from Schumacher is the Mi6Evo electric touring car kit. The car utilises the latest developments from SchumacherÂ’’s international racing and engineering team such as a modified chassis plate with increased cut outs around the suspension mounts for more traction. The shorter span, reduced footprint motor mount gives increased rear chassis flex and rear traction and it allows to brace the rear top deck without connecting it to motor mount for different stiffness tuning. On top of this the motor position moved 3mm inboard to reduce roll while centre line belts make for perfect balance. Other features include a lightweight 5-spoke spool, a lightweight centre pulley, carbon fibre reinforced nylon wishbones reduce weight and increase flexibility and an optional larger spur makes for a more forward motor positioning in modified racing. The kit will hit stores in March.
