Speed Passion GT2.0 LPF Carbon ESC

New from Speed Passion, is the follow up to their GT1.0 and 1.1 brushless ESCs, the new 2009 GT2.0 LPF Carbon Black Edition ESC. Featuring the new ‘Green Power’ feature to give you consistent power and longer run time, the speedo’s digital racing response system offers the user 9 selectable digital racing modes. Other features include the advanced multi timing system which is a special 8 mode BL motor timing adjustment system to help obtain best performance for both ESC and motor. Suitable for up to a 4.0T motor with 5 cells, the GT2.0 is supplied with programming box, cooling fan, battery & motor wires, switch, small form capacitor and short & long receiver cables.

Speed Passion HB D8 BL conversion

Similar to the system released by Speed Passion last week for the Kyosho Inferno range of cars comes the conversion kit for the World Champion Hot Bodies D8. Comprising of motor mount, motor plate and battery cases the system still needs you to get the electrics to power it for which Speed Passion offer their Silver Arrow V10 electric motors and electronic speed controller.

Speed Passion Inferno BL conversion kit

Speed Passion have released their 1/8th scale brushless conversion for the Kyosho Inferno buggy and truggy chassis’. Comprising of Motor mount, motor plate and battery cases the kit can be quickly and easily put into the chassis. To power the car you will need the company’s Silver Arrow motor with 5 mm shaft together with the 32 pitch steel pinion gear, available in 11 – 14T. The new Silver Arrow ESC is a water resistant controller that can support up to 4 cell LiPo batteries making it capable of handling two 14.8V packs.

Speed Passion Savage BL Conversion

Speed Passion have released their new brushless conversion kit for the popular HPI Savage, which includes motor mount, motor plate and battery cases. To power your BL ready Savage you can install one of the new range of Silver Arrow V10 1/8 brushless motors, ranging from 3.5R to 6.5R, the mount also fits Novak motors, together with the new Silver Arrow high performance ESC that can easily handle the dual 7.4 volt LiPo packs.

Speed Passion Special edition motors

Speed Passion have been in contact to give us a preview of their great looking new special edition Competition 2.0 brushless motors. Perfect in time for the World Championships this November, the new motors are decorated in the names of the company’s factory drivers and carry their own unique colour scheme. Motors are available from Marc Rheinard, Jilles Groskamp, Viktor Wilck, Surikarn Chaidajsuriya and Toni Rheinard. Speed Passion have had a good year so far winning the European 1/10th and 1/12th scale Championships, LRP Masters, pre Worlds in Thailand, the Euro Touring series and the IIC, but can they get a perfect run and take the Worlds too, they seem to have a very strong team going into the event.

Speed Passion LCD Pro Programmer

Speed Passion have announced the release of this new LCD Professional Program unit with built in USB / PC Interface tools. Allowing you to have more adjustable features, such as drag brake power by percentage (0 to 100%), it will support the company’s Silver Arrow 1/8 Esc DRRS power adjust, also by percentage. The LCD unit also pre-stores 3 different type of ESC setting, so you can easily load your favourite setting to suit different track condition. Available to purchase at the end of August.

Speed Passion LiPos & Analysis tool

Seen at last weekend’s Euro Touring Series finale in Andernach, Germany, Speed Passion gave us a first look at some of their new upcoming products. The most interesting of which was the new range of LiPo packs which will be released soon, beginning with 2 different configurations, a 25C 4000MAh hard cased racing pack and a stick pack shaped 20C 4000MAh pack, which retains it round edges to enable it to fit into standard stick pack mounts.

Speed Passion Silver Arrow BL series

We have received the first Exclusive pictures and information on Speed Passion’s newest project, the Silver Arrow 1/8th Brushless system. Designed to convert any 1/8th scale on road chassis from gas to electric power, it has been made first for the Serpent 960. The conversion consists of the electrical parts, which consist of a motor, ESC and battery and the parts needed to mount the motor and adapt the 2-speed to a single speed.
