Schelle Lockout Buggy Set & Pro Built B6 diffs

Schelle Racing Innovations have introduced the Lockout Buggy Set for Team Associated and TLR buggies as well as Pro Built B6 differentials. Starting with the Lockout set, the conversion was designed for all-out buggy 17.5 and 13.5 racing. The set removes the heavy slipper assemblies and sheds weight down to a bare minimum while allowing the use of Schelle’s Nova spur gears. JConcepts B6-series Aero short chord rear wing

JConcepts B6-series Aero short chord rear wing

JConcepts have introduced the new B6-series Aero short chord rear wing. The new Aero wing has intriguing details, a leading edge that drops below the mounting point that acts in a scooping manner. What separates the new wing from the standard is the shorter deck length, otherwise known as the “chord length”. The shorter chord has less rear overhang allowing for quicker rotation in the 180 degree turns and will have less impact in gusty wind conditions or long aerial manoeuvres. The centre channel is just narrow enough for the B6 wing mount assembly but drops the wing at just the correct height and position. The side-dams feature large openings for tyre clearance and expansion. A forward gurney option gives drivers an adjustment that previously hasn’t been available in the class and clipped rear corners help minimise flex breakage which is so common on 1/10th off-road racing machines. The joint wing assembly includes two wing pieces suitable for both the B6 and B6D buggy.

T-Works B6-series chassis balance weights

T-Works B6-series chassis balance weights

Made for Team Associated’s sixth generation 1/10th 2WD buggies come two aluminium chassis weights. Machined from high-quality alloy and sporting a back anodised surface and laser-etched markings the under servo weight weighs in at 9.5g while the under electronics weighs adds 15g to the all-up weight of the buggy. Both use existing hardware holes and are thus securely fastened even when the going gets tough. The weights are usable separately or in combination and they fit both the B6’s and B6D’s chassis pockets.

Team EA Motorsports Energy Absorbent TC bumpers

Team EA Motorsports Energy Absorbent TC bumpers

Team EA Motorsports have introduced their Energy Absorbent touring car front bumpers. Offering a 6mm extended design the foam bumpers do away with the need to add material in order to better support the bodyshells and keeping them from dragging on the racing surface. In case a less forward position is desired, the specially designed foam is very easy to sand down to whatever distance is needed. The highly supportive are also very light, preserving excellent steering response compared to heavier parts. The bumper is currently available in three different configurations, solid, pre-cut with inserts, and cut-out, with the solid bumper giving the least amount of steering and the cut-out one being the most corner-hungry, and it was designed to fit the Xray T4 but it also is usable on Awesomatix, Team Associated TC7 and Gizmo cars with some minor trimming.

Schelle B6 flat A-arm front & 31mm rear shock towers

Schelle B6 flat A-arm front & 31mm rear shock towers

Coming from Schelle Racing Innovations are two new carbon fibre option parts for the Team Associated B6 buggy. First up is the flat A-arm front shock tower and wing mount. The front tower design mates with a 3-D-printed upper wing mount, allowing to screw-on the front wing without removing the shock standoffs. The design also allows to quickly extract the mount without removing the shock standoff screws, as well as remove the wing off the car for travel or cleaning while keeping the mount in place. Furthermore the screw-on front wing design eliminates the common wing failure of cracking at the mount tab corner. The front tower kit comes including suitable hardware and a gullwing A-arm variant will be released soon.

JConcepts RC8T3 Finnisher bodyshell

JConcepts RC8T3 Finnisher bodyshell

JConcepts have introduced the Finnisher bodyshell for the Team Associated RC8T3 and T3e. Winner of the 2016 ROAR National Championship in the hands of Spencer Rivkin, the body features a slight cab forward, raked windshield and aggressive stance. A wide front hood scoop allows plenty of clearance for front suspension and the body incorporates a large center fin which begins on the roof line and finishes just past the half-way point on the bed. An extended front chin spoiler, headlight and grill protect the front-end from unwanted up-drafts during flight. The body incorporates pre-dimpled body post locations and it also includes champion rear name plates which provide additional high-speed stability and improved positioning of the rear bed rails to strengthen the assembly. Overall handling has been improved by balancing the bias between the cab location and rear wing placement which control the majority of the aero affects of the aggressively styled body.
