JConcepts S2 B5M bodyshell

During the recent IFMAR 1/10th Buggy World Championships JConcepts have introduced the S2 bodyshell for the Team Associated B5M buggy. The new shell rocks some familiar features but rolled together with a low-profile stance. Slammed overall height allows the S2 to whisk through the turns with a low centre of mass while the progressive cab design provides plenty of front-end force for balance and steering. A channelled roof directs the flow through the centre of the body while also increasing the rigidity of cockpit. The dual side-window design that has become famous on the JConcepts bodies remains to bring a traditional feel to the layout. The upper side-pods feature distinct vents used to help relieve hot air build-up inside the body for those high-powered runs or hot days at the track. Carved and detailed side-pods edge the body giving the highly aero unit a stylish look with and tight fit and finish. Cut-lines are included on each side of the body to accommodate 3 or 4 gear transmission layouts giving all out versatility. Included with the body come two 6.5″ Finnisher rear wings, a decal sheet and window masks.

DE Racing SpeedLine Plus 2.4 4WD front wheels

DE Racing has added 2.4″ 4WD buggy front wheels to their SpeedLine Plus 2.4 range of 1/10th buggy wheels. They feature a 12mm hex and offset for use on many models including the Kyosho ZX-6, TLR 22-4, Hot Bodies D413, and Team Associated B44.3 when using their 12mm hex conversion. The wheels are manufactured in the USA and available in eight colours including black, blue, green, orange, pink, red, white and yellow.

Associated Limited Edition RC10B5M Champions Edition

To commemorate their recent World Championship title won by Spencer Rivkin in Japan and domination of this year’s ROAR Nationals by Ryan Cavalieri Team Associated have introduced the Limited Edition RC10B5M Champions Edition. The new B5M Champions Edition includes the most popular tuning options available. By including parts for both 3- and 4-gear transmissions, flat and gullwing front suspension arms, and V2 and VTS slipper solutions, this is the most tunable car Team Associated has ever made. Strength, longevity and style have also been improved by including carefully selected Factory Team option parts like: Fox Shock Bodies with Genuine Kashima coating, titanium turnbuckles, blue shield ball bearings, aluminium front axles and an aluminium rear ball stud mount. This is a limited production vehicle and will be available in November 2015 while supplies last.

JConcepts B5M Warrior bodyshell

Seen for the first time at the recent IFMAR 1/10th Buggy World Championships JConcepts now officially introduce the Warrior bodyshell for the Team Associated B5M buggy. The design is focussed on the unconventional 8-window cab with rollcage details with an unique split front window, protecting the cockpit from the occasional aerial assault of lap traffic. The rear upper pods are pronounced, heavily drafted and blended to the chassis side-guard covers, allowing plenty of electrical clearance inside the shell. The body is an experienced racer too, featuring useable vents positioned throughout providing air-intake or escape packages for the skilled and crafty driver. Fully committed, the Warrior body features cut-lines for either Team Associated 3 or 4 gear transmission layout and the body package contains two 6.5″ Finnisher rear wings with cut lines and pre-dimpled locations for drop-fit mounting on the Team Associated B5M. Masks are included for all forward and side facing window panels and JConcepts decal sheet round out the package.

Team Associated Apex Scion Racing FS-R LiPo Combo

The latest Team Associated kit to receive the LiPo Combo treatment is the Apex Scion Racing 2015 Formula Drift car. Fitted with the same racing livery as the full-size FR-S driven by Greddy pro driver Ken Gushi, the kit features a Reedy brushless motor and digital speed control, sealed metal-gear diffs and a tough 4WD system with aluminium drive shaft. High-grip treaded racing tyres are mounted on 10-spoke hex drive wheels that include realistic-looking details such as brake rotors and callipers. Four adjustable fluid-filled, coil-over, tuned shocks make managing imperfections in the road effortless. Included with the LiPo Combo is also the Reedy compact balance charger as well as a WolfPack 3300mAh 30C 7.4V LiPo battery.

DMS Partz B44.3 carbon fibre chassis set

New from DMS Partz and made for the Team Associated B44.3 4WD buggy is a carbon fibre chassis set with Avid balance weights. As used by several of the Team Associated team drivers and also used by Team Associated’s Neil Cragg to TQ this year’s oOple race in the 4WD class the chassis is designed to be stronger and more rigid than the kit supplied aluminium offering, which results in a sharper and more responsive feel to the car. The new chassis gives drivers the option of switching the steering servo to either the left or right position on the chassis with holes provided for both layouts. In keeping with the kit options, forward or rear motor options are available and both saddle or shortly LiPo layouts can be used.

T-Works B5 titanium shock standoffs

T-Works have titanium shock standoffs for Team Associated’s fifth generation 1/10th off-road vehicles available. Made from the same material as T-Works’ screws and turnbuckles the standoffs are of a multi-piece design that does away with the need to use the standard composite shock bushings. Included in the set, that is usable with the B5, T5 and SC5 kits, are the standoffs, four mounting screws as well as suitable self-locking nuts.

Team Associated RC8B3 FT +2 steering block arms

New from Team Associated are +2 degree graphite steering block arms for the RB8B3 and B3e buggy. These new arms increase the steering Ackermann of the vehicle, resulting in a smoother steering feel when compared to the standard steering block arm set. Made from quality woven-carbon fibre for strength, slight weight savings, and a factory look.
