Team Associated’s SC10 4×4 Ready-To-Run is a scale replica of the short-course truck raced by Kyle LeDuc in the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series. The SC10 4×4 RTR has a unique composite modular chassis design with sealed receiver box and removable ESC tray for easy maintenance. Other innovative features such as 13mm big bore shocks, a decoupled slipper clutch, and a hybrid belt/gear drive system make the SC10 4×4 unlike any other short course truck on the planet. In addition to these unique features, a long list of competition-proven components create an extremely high-performance and durable state-of-the-art race truck. A 2.4GHz radio system, metal gear steering servo, Reedy 550-SL 3500kV brushless motor, and a LiPo-ready ESC round out the Monster Energy SC10 4×4 RTR.

Featuring the paint scheme of the truck raced by Eric Barron in the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series, the Toyota Racing SC10RS is a Ready-To-Run RC short course truck that features a water-resistant high-power XP brushless speed control, Reedy 3300kV brushless motor, and a water-resistant enclosed receiver box. Adjustable blue anodized aluminum V2 coil-over shocks and Short Course hex-drive wheels come standard with high traction racing compound rear tires for more grip.

Avid Associated carbon fibre ESC shelf

The Avid carbon fibre ESC shelf takes conventional ideas one step further with our innovative slotted design. They created a versatile system that works with both stick and shorty battery pack types, as well as allowing for all popular battery brands/models. Racers can buy the ESC shelf “a la carte” or buy a set with 4mm Steel or Titanium threaded standoff posts. The sliding design with standoffs is simple and easy to use, with no stacks of washers to deal with when working on your car. In addition to shifting the ESC weight onto the centerline of the car, the slotted design lets racers run the ESC as far forward as possible, preventing too much rear weight bias which makes for poor handling. It also lets stick pack racers run the bullet plugs in the rear for short wires and to keep the weight of the cells forward.

Team Associated RC10 classic kit

In celebration of the 30th anniversary of the original RC10 Team Associated soon release the RC10 Classic Kit, a faithful reproduction of Roger Curtis’ world championship-winning design. The kit comes with the iconic gold colour aluminium tub, short arm front suspension, gold colour aluminium shocks, VariLok ball differential and 3-piece clamping wheels. Just like the original the Classic Kit comes with adjustable camber and steering rods, the original design Protech body shell and rear wing as well as front rib and rear knobby tyres. To make sure the RC10 is 2013-ready it features an updated battery mount to take not only NiMH but also LiPo battery packs.

Associated Monster Energy/Toyota Racing SC10RS RTR

A scale replica of the Johnny and C.J. Greaves Monster Energy/Toyota Racing truck raced in the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series and at the Crandon World Championship, this SC10RS Short Course truck features some major upgrades that include a water-resistant high-power XP brushless speed control, Reedy 3300kV brushless motor, and a water-resistant enclosed receiver box. The suspension also received an upgrade with the addition of adjustable blue anodized aluminum V2 coil-over shocks. The 2.6:1 ratio gearbox comes with a heavy-duty sealed gear differential and the externally adjustable V2 slipper clutch. Short course hex-drive wheels come standard on the SC10RS with high traction racing compound rear tires for more grip. The XP 2.4GHz radio system and XP metal gear steering servo round out the SC10RS.

JConcepts B44.2 aluminium steering bellcrank

New from JConcepts comes the aluminium steering bellcrank assembly for the Team Associated B44.2 buggy. In the stock trim, the B44 steering swings an all moulded, plastic bellcrank system as well as a plastic steering rack supported by bushings. The JConcepts design includes an aluminium driving and driven bellcrank and incorporates a flat panel 2.5mm material as the steering rack with three locations for Ackermann adjustment. The new rack includes bearings for the system to glide on while long stainless steel ball studs provide the connection between the system and steering tie-rod. The servo-saver less aluminium bellcranks, that are available in blue or black colour, allow for a more precise steering feel with increased steering through less defection while the carbon fibre rack pivots freely on the bearing supported system allowing the driver to feel less drag and quicker response.

Team Associated and LRP to work independently

Team Associated and LRP today announced jointly that Associated will no longer be selling and servicing the LRP brand in North America. Associated has supported the LRP brand in North America for over 18 years and the two brands have achieved great success with many IFMAR World Championships together during this partnership. See below for the remainder of the announcement.

With both brands expanding and their respective product lines overlapping, both sides felt the timing was right to work independently, but still continue a racing partnership. Associated will now fully focus on developing and promoting the Reedy brand in all markets. Reedy develops products in the electric motor, nitro engine, battery, charger and speed control categories. LRP will expand its presence in North America by establishing LRP America, Inc. in Southern California. LRP America will provide marketing, service, and race support for a broadened product range in North America. LRP America will begin serving North America on September 1, 2013.

JConcepts B4/T4/SC10 carbon fibre steering rack

JConcepts introduce this carbon fibre steering rack for Team Associated’s 2WD line of 1/10th off-road vehicles such as the B4, T4 and SC10. In the stock trim, the B4 steering swings a moulded plastic steering rack supported by bushings. The JConcepts alternative uses the flat panel 2.5mm material as the steering rack with the standard 2 locations for Ackermann adjustment. The new rack includes bearings for the system to glide on while small 1mm aluminium washers act as the crush sleeve between the bell-cranks and bearings. The rack is a direct replacement for all current and old-spec B4’s, T4’s and SC10’s.
