Thunder Tiger Europe have signed Polish National Champion Dennis Fadtke to race their line of Associated electric cars. The German driver, who raced a Tamiya in the past will run the TC6 touring car internationally as well as running the B4.1, B44.1 and RC12RS at selected events. Dennis is looking forward to working together with TTE and wanted to give special thanks to Niko Triandafilidis for his great support in previous years.
As seen being worn by Associated team drivers at last weekend’s Dirt Nitro Challenge, the Team have released their new stencil t-shirt and hooded sweatshirt. Wear the Team’s newest look. Both are made using a comfy, 100% cotton, with short-sleeve t-shirt coming in blue while grey is the colour choice for the new sweatshirt which features drawstring hood and front pockets. Taking the spotlight on the Associated stand was the just recently announced SC10 4×4 4-wheel drive truck. It features a composite modular chassis design with sealed receiver box and removable ESC tray, combined with 13mm big bore shocks, a decoupled slipper clutch and a hybrid belt/gear drive system. Apart from this completely new product the rest of the stand showed off their increasing range of SC trucks including the SC8e, SC10 2wd and the mini SC18, showing that this is an important market segment for AE.
Keven Hébert has signed a 2 year extension to his contract to run Reedy LiPo batteries, Team Associated’s TC6 & 12R5.1 and LRP brushless systems. Reedy department manager Rick Hohwart was excited to be able to continue working closely with Keven, saying, “Keven is not only a driver who can win races, but who has been instrumental in the development of the TC6 and 12R5.1 platforms. He is not only fast, but is always willing to help others with setups and questions concerning motor and ESC gearing and tuning, as well as battery care and maintenance.
