Xenon Racing new style 1/12th scale front suspension

Xenon Racing in cooperation with UK company Zen Racing and 3-times IFMAR 1/12th scale World Champion, David Spashett have developed a new style front suspension system for 1/12th scale pan cars. The simplified design features moulded composite lower and upper arms with the latter being of a single piece design, doing away with the conventional upper wishbone, ball cup and camber link in favour of a rigid construction that uses eight different inserts to achieve the desired combination of wheel camber and caster. A total of 16 combinations, from 0.5 degree to 2.0 degree of camber and 3.0 degree to 6.0 degree of caster are accessible, allowing for a huge amount of control over the suspension geometry without the need for expensive setup tools. In addition the design is also a lot simpler while adding rigidity to the front end. Available are a 8/32 inch front end for RC12L compatible cars with an 3mm metric kit also being available for RC12R5 series cars.

JConcepts RC10T2 1995 Ford F-150 truck body

To honour of the golden age of stadium truck racing, JConcepts unveils a 1995 Ford F-150 stadium truck body for the Team Associated RC10T2 vintage 2WD truck. The RC10T2 has very little body options available and JConcepts took on a passion project to deliver a body to a vintage community thirsty for a fresh reboot. The JC body is narrow and sits close against the chassis to give racers the team look popular in the 1990’s. The styling is completely modelled after the most popular full-size truck of that era, the 1995 Ford F-150. The entire body shape has been chiseled, incorporating styling cues from the full-scale truck including wheel well shapes, door lines, window outlines and rear tailgate. The front-end sits just behind the front bumper while the headlight and grille area look strikingly stock and with included decal sheet, looks like its street truck counterpart. The RC10T2 body is moulded in a durable gauge material and includes rear spoiler, mounting hardware and decal sheet to completely outfit a vintage ride.

RDRP B74 Slipper Eliminator

Ruddog Distribution have announced the release of the new RDRP Slipper Eliminator for the Team Associated B74 4WD buggy. The direct spur gear hub is the ultimate option part for all stock racers as it greatly lowers not only the drivetrain’s rotation masses but also the buggy’s overall weight, making for blistering fast acceleration, lower motor temperatures and thus more power towards the end of the run. The slipper eliminator weighs in at about 17.4g including the supplied ultra lightweight 72T main gear, scrubbing about 50 percent of weight compared to the original slipper assembly it is replacing. Due to its lightweight design the slipper eliminator is best used with motors of more than 10.5T as it will not withstand the power of modified motors.
