Exotek B6.3 HD alloy front bulkhead

From Exotek comes this heavy duty, 7075 alloy constructed 10 gram front bulkhead for the B6.3-B6.1, T6.1, SC6.1 and all ‘6’ series Associated 2wd buggies and trucks. This HRC (high roll centre) option raises the inner hinge pin by 1mm and has 2 settings for kick up, 25° and 30°, depending on which direction it’s mounted. Customised polished black base with blue chamfered accents goes great with your stock plastic parts or after market blue parts.

Willspeed B6.3 one-piece LP carbon shock tower

For the AE B6.1, B6.2 & B6.3, Willspeed have produced this one-piece LP carbon shock tower. This is an updated shock tower as a result of ongoing development of the RF2 platform and offers increased structural rigidity by connecting the shock tower ears. The LP tower features -3mm shock location to lower the centre of gravity and decrease shock up-travel, increasing droop.

Willspeed TakeOne HRC AE B6 front bulkheads

New for the Team Associated B6 series of cars Willspeed introduces their TakeOne HRC machined aluminium front 25°/30° bulkhead. This front bulkhead raises the hinge pin 1mm closer to the chassis, raising the roll centre. The result is more steering response and overall steering throughout the corner and is a great option for all track and surface conditions. Lightweight at only 8.5g, this keeps the steering input feel immediate and agile. Supplied with new hinge pin brace to suit geometry change they are available now in clear, blue or black anodised finishes.

JConcepts B6.3 servo mount brace

JConcepts introduces this servo mount brace for the B6.3 line of vehicles. Constructed of light-weight aluminium, it has been a staple to racer’s vehicles going back to previous generation vehicles. The simple and sleek design with performance and tracking advantages have spoken volumes throughout the years on the racetrack. The mount fits snug inside the chassis servo mounting area increasing the support while the 2 screw mounting locations are beefy in design and zeroed in for a direct mount to the chassis. The brace has locations on each side for included 3x6mm set screws to help align and maintain servo position during racing conditions, crashes, and hard hits. The set screws are intended to touch-off against the servo case and provide additional support retaining the servo in the intended position which helps maintain consistent steering trim. The servo mount brace can be installed without any modifications or additional equipment in B6.3 vehicles. Avid B6.3 Arm Mount C wider -2°

The new Avid B6.3 -2° C arm mount is a must-have if you are racing on high bite surfaces such as carpet or turf. This mount frees up the vehicle in the turns and when landing jumps sideways such as corner tabletops. To get to the low rear toe settings you need on carpet, you have to start narrowing the pills through the D Mount which is increasing side bite by decreasing your track width. This C Arm mount prevents that from happening by widening the C Arm Mount 1.4mm, thus starting you at 1 deg of rear toe with centered pills on the C and D mount instead of 3.

Jamie & Tommy Hall join Associated Factory Race Team

Team Associated, Reedy Power and Factory Team have announced the graduation of UK based brothers, Jamie and Tommy Hall to the Factory Race Team. Starting their R/C journey in 2011 and gaining support from Associated’s British distributor CML, Jamie and Tommy have climbed the ranks in the 1:10 BRCA series while recently venturing in to the 1:8 category. Jamie and Tommy each have a very different approach to racing but they complement one another well. This has lead to rapid improvement and collectively succeeding at an International level. Tommy’s priorities are on racing and race craft whereas Jamie’s focus is on set-up and the technical aspects of the vehicles. Team Associated said ‘We welcome the Hall family to the team and look forward to a long and successful relationship’.
