Exotek B64 Flite stock racing centre spool set

Exotek have introduced the Flite 75T centre spool set for the Team Associated B64 buggy. The ultra lightweight centre spool greatly reduces the rotating mass of the B64 for that extra boost in 13.5T and 17.5T blinky spec racing. The set weighs 18g with the spur gear whereas the stock diff weighs in at 42g in total. A machined 75T POM spur gear is included and bolts on to the lightweight alloy spool. Included also are coated steel outdrive cups for long lasting wear and are machined to accept the stock steel B64 centre bones or the super light weight MIP puck bone system for the B64.

Avid B6 flat front & long rear carbon fibre shock towers

Avid have introduced new front and rear carbon fibre shock towers for the Team Associated B6 series of buggies. Available are the “flat” front and “long” rear towers, both are made of 4.5mm carbon fibre material and Avid added material, pocketing, and bracing to the weak areas. The flat and long configurations are the most popular on dirt tracks and they require flat front A-arms and long 31mm shock bodies as the latter offer more volume and control in most conditions. The upper shock mount positions are in the same location as the stock geometry and the towers are available separately from now on.

Fenix Flexy Sexy E4RS4 & updated TC7.1 alloy chassis

Fenix have introduced their Flexy Sexy aluminium chassis for the Team Magic E4RS4 and also an updated main plate for the Team Associated TC7.1. Starting with the Team Magic chassis, it is 85mm wide and weighs in at 82g. Excessive machining in the middle section makes for optimised flex characteristics of the fully symmetrical chassis, making it ideal for all medium to high-bite conditions. As for the updated TC7.1 chassis the main plate now offers ARS mounting positions directly on the chassis. An “ARS” engraving makes for easy identification of the updated item.

1up Racing TC7.1 Dynamic Toe Control conversion kit

1up Racing have introduced the Dynamic Toe Control conversion for the Team Associated TC7 and TC7.1 touring cars. This conversion utilises genuine Team Associated parts along with custom 1up Racing C-hubs and inner mounts machined from 7075-T6 aluminium for maximum durability and weight savings. During testing, it became clear that the standard caster block design allowed for too much flex which caused the car to become very unpredictable at times, especially on bumpy surfaces. Due to the unique design of the 1up Racing C-hub, the rear arms now retain far more material and keep their rigidity allowing the DTC system to work well on a wide range of surfaces and track conditions. The DTC conversion does not require any extra drilling or modifications to the existing parts, while also including all the necessary hardware for an easy bolt-on installation.
