Ultimate Racing metric tool line

Modelix Racing introduce a new line of Ultimate Racing tools that feature an ultra lightweight and durable aluminium handle. The non-slip surface allows for comfortable use during long wrenching sessions and the handles come with the Ultimate logo engraved while a blank space lets you customise the wrenched with your name. A red anodized cap is fitted to the end to help with tool handling and the tool type and size is engraved to the cap for easy identification. The hardened steel tips are precision designed to provide an exceptional fit and the tools are available in a range of sizes and designs including hex and ball hex wrenches, flat and Phillips screw drivers as well as two nut drivers.

Ultima Racing 2 & 3-drawer carrying bags

Modelix have two new Ultimate Racing branded carrying bags available. They are made from hard-wearing materials, feature strong zippers and are available in two variants with 2 or 3 drawers to take your RC gear such as the transmitter, charger, accessories and spare parts. Sturdy handles help with handling even with fully loaded bags. As for the dimensions both the 2 and 3-drawers variant measure 65x35x38cm with only the drawer height being different with 17.5cm for the dual drawer and 11.5cm for the triple drawer bag.

Ultimate M814 .21 off road engine

Ultimate Engines have introduced their new M814 .21 off road engine which is based on the successful M8 engine with a few improvements. The cooling head has been redesigned to remove weight for lowering the centre of gravity, as well as to increase the surface of the cooling area. Furthermore, this CNC machined cooling head has been modified to make adjusting the idle easier. In addition the mounting points of the crankcase have also been modified to avoid rubbing the rear centre shaft. Ultimate also have their new EFRA 2119 off road Super Strong Tuned Pipe set w/ Manifold that has been developed to provide a good balance of top end, and low end power with good run time. Available as combos, which include the engine, complete pipe set, clutch, clutch bell, air filter and foam, they also now supply the engines and pipe alone without combo.

Riccardo Acciari joins Radiosistemi for 2014

Radiosistemi have announced the signing of former European B Champion Riccardo Acciari to their factory team. After a small hiatus he is back running the RR8 chassis as well as the complete Modelix package with Ultimate Racing products, Ultimate Engines, ProCircuit tires and Nitrolux fuel. Ricky will compete in this year’s Italian Naionals as well as the European B Championships and other major races such as the Pierrefeu GP and Italian Job.

Yannick Aigoin to run Ultimate & Pro-Line

Yannick Aigoin to run Ultimate engines & Pro-Line tires

Former European Champion and French Championship front runner Yannick Aigoin has announced that he has made the switch to Ultimate engines and Pro-Line tires for 2014. The Associated team driver who previously ran with nVision engines and Pro Circuit tires made the announcement from IBR Padova, where he is competing this weekend at the annual Italian Job race. Yannick had this to say:

I’m really happy with my new package and cannot wait to race with it … Off course, I need time to learn this but I’m very confident this will give me the best chance to achieve my goals in 2014. I’d like to thank everybody who made this possible!

Davide Ongaro joins Modelix Racing

Modelix Racing have the signing of talented twelve years old Italian driver Davide Ongaro to their World Racing Team. Davide will run the company’s range of Ultimate Racing products, Procircuit tires and Nitrolux fuel. “The whole Modelix team wishes you a successful RC racing career and wants to welcome Davide as well as his father and mechanic Mauro Ongaro to the team.”

Ultimate Dual Compak clutch system

Modelix Racing introduce the latest version of the Ultimate Racing Compak clutch system called Dual. The system is an evolution of the well known Compak clutch and comes with a 34mm gold-anodised aluminium flywheel with tempered steel pins, one carbon and two aluminium clutch shoes as well as all three springs installed. The clutch is designed to provide a smooth power delivery, it extends the life span of the bearings and it also helps to lower the fuel consumption. The unique construction of the clutch allows to prepare an entire clutch body in advance that can be easily swapped and replaced when needed. The assembly is available with three different spring hardnesses from soft to hard allowing for a fine adjustment of the clutch engagement and using the standard or conical-shaped V2 flywheel.

Charlee P. joins Ultimate Racing & ProCircuit

Ultimate Racing and ProCircuit have announced that talented Thai driver Charlee P. has joined their team through a deal with Team RC Pro Thailand, exclusive distributor for UR and PCT. Charlee has had a great season since joining the UR&PCT Team, having a good result at the 2011 FEMCA Championships in Malaysia and winning the 3rd round of the Thai nationals. Charlee has this to say:

I’m very glad to be running the high quality products UR & PCT. I’m sure this will help me make it to the next level. I would like to thank Team RC Pro / Ultimate Racing / ProCircuit for all their support and it will be a great year working together.
