Venom Pro Charger 2 & PS600 Power Supply

Venom have introduced the follow-up to the wildly successful Pro Charger series. The Venom Pro Charger 2 has a new ergonomic case design and features an integrated power supply, on-board balance block and supports charging rates up to 6.0amps. This AC/DC powered multi-chemistry charger is micro processor controlled, fan cooled and can handle Lithium batteries up to 6S, NiMh/NiCd batteries from 1-15 cells and Lead Acid batteries from 1-10 cells (2v to 20v). The Venom Pro2 also boasts many high end features such as multiple discharge profiles, internal resistance testing and recallable memory profiles for up to five of your most commonly used batteries. The Venom Pro2 also comes with nine of the most popular charging leads including Traxxas, Deans, EC3, EC5, Tamiya, receiver pack, JST, alligator clips and glow plug adapter for trouble free connection to the most popular batteries on the market.

Venom Stronghold 25A DC charger

Venom have introduced the new Stronghold 25 Amp DC Battery Charger, the the world’s first charger that combines cutting-edge technology and improved charging safety in one package. This charger offers a full 500-watt circuit and allows charge rates up to an astonishing 25amps. The panel features an easy-to-read backlit LCD screen and an easy to use intuitive programming menu. The Stronghold also allows you to keep track of your LiPo packs performance and condition with the new IR-Mode internal resistance test. IR-Mode™ tests each cell individually and provides single cell and total pack resistance values so you can see the real-time condition of your LiPo and LiFe battery packs.

Venom Medion Dual Output Charging station

Venom have released their all-new Medion Dual Output Charging station with integrated media player. Venom engineers listened to their Factory Team Pilots and they wanted music. So, they developed a rugged aluminium housed charger with a built-in media player featuring high definition 70mm drivers allowing you to pipe in your favorite tunes from your music player via a standard 1/8th inch stereo input. This charger features 400 watts of power via dual 200-watt circuits allowing for simultaneous charging of two batteries up to 10 amps each. The Medion also features a new IR-Mode™ internal resistance test which will test each cell individually and provides single cell and total pack resistance values so you can see the real-time condition of your LiPo and LiFe battery packs. All this technology is accessible through an easy-to-read red, backlit LCD display.

Scotty Jones joins Venom Australia

Venom Australia have signed experienced off road driver, Scotty Jones, to drive for them in the 2012-2013 seasons. Scott has a lot of experience in off road racing, having competed solidly at highest levels in both 1/10th and 1/8th categories over the last 10 years. He is always ready to lend a helping hand with set up advice and to help out his fellow racer and this kind of great attitude and professional driving standard make Scotty the perfect driver for their new team. Scott had the following to say about his new deal:

I’m really looking forward to representing Venom Group Australia. I will enjoy being able to use their great range of products, as well as the new Kyosho TKI3 Buggy and STRR Evo Truggy. I can’t wait to see the results we can achieve together in the upcoming season. Massive thanks to Venom Australia for all the support and I look forward to hitting the tracks soon!

Venom LiPo packs with integrated voltmeter

Venom have introduced the hobby’s first batteries with integrated voltmeter. With a simple press of a button, a series of LED lights will clearly indicate your charge status. Available in a 7.4V 4500mAh 20C configuration for use in most RTR 1/10th scale vehicles, and a 14.8V 4500mAh 35C configuration for most 1/8th scale trucks and buggies. Standard features include the Venom Universal Plug System, heavy-duty hard case, 12 AWG wire leads, XH balance connector and Venom’s Lifetime Battery Replacement Plan. Don’t just guess, be sure with Venom Volt Check Batteries. Venom have also announced the addition of their new 7.4V 25C 10,000mAh LiPo. Venom LiFe RX packs

More new items from Venom who introduce their new LiFe-Power line of LiFePO4 (Lithium Iron Phosphate) receiver batteries. These LiFe batteries offer many advantages over their Lipo counterparts including 4X the useable cycles (1000+ cycles), no low voltage cutoff and higher charge rates. As a receiver battery, there is no need for a regulator due to the lower nominal voltage compared to a Lipo. Venom is offering two new packs one in a flat and the other a hump configuration suitable for most 1/10th and 1/8th scale fuel power cars, trucks or truggies. All Venom batteries come with the Venom Lifetime Battery Replacement Plan.
