Venom 1S 5000mAh & 2S 250Mah LiPo packs

Two new LiPo packs from Venom, the first is this 1S 5000mAh 3.7v durable hard case pack which is ideally suited for use in 1/12th scale cars. Continuously rated for 50C, this pack delivers the performance you need and its heavy-duty 12AWG wire leads come equipped with Venom’s own Universal Plug System for simple plug-and-play operation. Also new is the Venom 15C 2S 250mah 7.4v LiPo pack which was designed for use in the Losi Micro 1/24th Scale Rally Cars and 4wd Short Course Trucks. Pre-wired with a Molex 51005 connector, plus XH style balance connector.

Venom 210 Dual Output Multi Charger

Venom Transporter race case

The new Venom Transporter race case has a bold new look. Now available in black with Venom red accents to help keep all of your track supplies organized and close at hand on race day. This case has integrated wheels and an extendable tow handle for easy maneuvering. The top portion of the case has a built-in tool organizer and parts tray, while inside you’ll find five oversized drawers. The lower four drawers are perfect for storing transmitters and spare parts. The oversized upper drawer will hold models up to 1/8th scale buggy size.

Venom battery safety charge sack

Charging batteries is now safer than ever with Venom’s updated battery safety charge sack. Not only have they included high temperature fireproof thread, but Venom has also added snaps to the existing Velcro closure flap to contain fire and debris in case of a catastrophic failure. Made of flame resistant material, this sack will help protect you and surrounding areas from possible fire damage. Use the safety sack while charging, storing or transporting your battery packs. Toy Fair 2011 – Short Course round-up

Having covered the toy fair in depth for Red RC we decided to bring together all the short course related releases for an easy overview, beginning with Durango. On display at their German distributors stand, the Durango DESC410R was making its public debut. Having written in depth about the car here, its basically a longer and wider version of the successful DEX410, with the chassis is made from a sandwich of materials that creates a strong and very stiff backbone for the car, something that could not have been achieved with the aluminium side skirts used on the 1/10th buggy.

Toy Fair 2011 – Venom

Venom are rocking the super moto spec options for their VMX450 dirt bike here at the toy fair which include the the most obvious option, the slick grippy super moto tires in place of the conventional off road version. Up front the bike can be fitted with the aluminium triple clamp system for securely mounting the front forks of the bike, while for stopping power there is the optional front braking system. The rear of the bike sees the new adjustable chain tensioner built into the swing arm and to hold the body in place securely there are aluminium body posts.

The Venom Gambler 1/10 Short Course Brushless RTR Truck was designed for the popular 2WD short course racing class modeled after the full-scale Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series racing trucks. Designed from the ground up, the Gambler represents the latest in race truck design plus a new feature unique to the Venom Gambler, the MORdrive system. Now you can adjust the center of gravity on the fly in the pits by changing the rear transmission position from mid-motor to rear motor. This system allows you to fine tune the weight balance and tailor the Gambler to the track conditions.

Venom Slash 4WD hop-up parts

Upgrade your Traxxas Slash 4WD with Venom’s custom aluminium hop-up parts. All have been CNC machined from high grade aluminum, they not only look incredible, they will increase the durability of your SCT. The new parts include front and rear lower arm set, front knuckle set, front C-Hub set, rear hub set, front and rear shock tower sets, motor plate and motor plate mount. All these parts are available in gun metal grey or Venom red. Venom have also released steel universal joint hafts for the front and rear of the car.
