Venom VMX450 1/4th scale dirt bike

Venom VMX450 1/4th scale dirt bike

Having shown you photos off the prototype at the Nuremberg toy fair last week, here we have the official release for the 1/4th scale VMX450 dirt bike from Venom. With true to scale details, the realistic Motocross performance will leave you thinking that you’re a Supercross hero as you clear the triple and blast the whoop section on your own backyard track. The VMX chassis was an exercise in compact functional space management while keeping a true to life look of a full-scale 450 moto-cross bike. Covering up all that work would be a shame if it wasn’t for a very detailed and realistic looking body set styled after contemporary 450 race bikes.

Toy Fair 2010 – Venom

Venom SCX short course truck

Australian manufacturer Venom were also making their debut at the fair and were making a big splash with their new releases that include the all new SCX short course truck. This completely new platform is being shown in its pre production form but when it goes on sale, will be completely ready to run with a basic 2.4Ghz radio system, speed controller and beadlock tires. A neat feature of the car is the fact that you can easily change it between a rear and mid motored car, the latter expected to be the default when it goes on sale.
