Willspeed B7 ‘Osprey’ Bodyshell

Best known for its billet aluminium buggy conversion kits, British manufacturer Willspeed has released the ‘Osprey’ body for the Team Associated RC10B7 2WD Buggy.  Manufactured from high quality polycarbonate, the body is available in a Standard 1mm material version as well as a Lightweight 0.5mm option.

Willspeed B7 Camber Blocks

Willspeed has released a new Aluminium +2 -2 Caster Block Link Mounts for the Team Associated RC10B7 2WD Buggy.  Manufactured in 7075 Aluminium, the single piece alu design gets machined threads to remove the factory nyloc nut.  This makes for ease of ball stud removal and adjustment.  Pair these up with our 0 +4 option you have all the possibilities covered!  Component Weight (Pair) – 3.01g

Willspeed B7 Machined PEEK Idler Gears

New from British 1:10 offroad specialist manufacturer Willspeed is this machined 26T PEEK Idler Gears Set for the Team Associated B7 2WD Buggy.  Looking to create the ultimate fit and forget Idler Gear solution for the B7 in terms of performance and reliability, they redesigned the 3 gears to take 5 X 9 X 3mm bearings (supplied).  Reducing the bearing diameter to increase the material section at the root of the gear tooth to improve strength and durability.  PEEK (polyetheretherketone) a premium high performance engineering plastic and boasts excellent mechanical strength, heat and wear resistance and bearing properties, the highest rated among plastics making these gears truly a fit and forget item.

Willspeed B7 Options

British 1:10 offroad specialist manufacturer Willspeed has released a number of option parts for Team Associated’s B7 1:10 2WD Buggy. First of these are the Strengthened “Full Brace” D Block & Strengthened Std D Block. The B7 has notably had a few teething issues with the D Block and it’s alignment relative to the chassis and suspension arms, notably as it’s no longer chassis mounted and mounted on long screws through the gearbox case. The WS “Full Brace” D block incorporates the D Block and Roll Bar mount into a singular billet aluminium piece. This allows the D block to be fastened to the transmission case in two planes underneath the box and to the flat back surface in a “Fully Braced” fashion. Utilising the parallel rear face of the gearbox avoids alignment problems associated with the original component. Willspped also increased section thickness and added clearance chamfers to aid durability but keep clearance. They also offer a WS Std Strengthened D block with weighs of 6.83g for the Full Brace D Block and 3.69g for the Std D Block.

Martin wins 2024 Willspeed GP – Report

Willspeed, the British manufacturer best known for its billet aluminium buggy conversion kits, hosted the third annual edition of its Willspeed GP recently where Schumacher Racing’s Lee Martin took the win.   Running of the event in partnership with 1066 Racing in Hastings, the event had 84 drivers book in and like last year the 2024 edition sold out within 24 hours going to show what a great meeting 1066 Racing put on and the racers were certainly keen to come back for more! The driver line up looked very strong with some of the top UK racers in attendance these included, Lee Martin, Kyle Moon, Nathan Ralls, Aaron Nash, Daniel Pole, Abe Lyons, Yasir Mughal and many more! We were greeted by a fantastic technical layout from the 1066 track crew with some great jumps which required precision and skill to get a clean fast lap in so consistency would be key to getting to the sharp end of the results!

Willspeed 13mm 1:10 Buggy Springs

British specialist 1:10 buggy conversion kit manufacturer Willspeed has released a comprehensive range of 13mm 1:10 offroad springs. Produced as a result of popular request and the results of ongoing testing and development, the ‘No nonsense’ springs are high quality springs manufactured in the UK in a bright silver finish in the rates you require. With five front and rear options to choose from, they are supplied with colour code heat shrink for easy non-wearing identification.  The front springs start from 4.0lbs to 5.50lbs while the rears start at 2.0lbs and run to 2.5lbs and are compatible with all 1:10 Offroad platforms that utilise 13mm big bore dampers.

Willspeed RF3 Full Carbon Edition

With the carpet season return upon us, Willspeed has announced that its popular RF3 conversion kit is now available in a ‘Full Carbon Kit’ edition which includes many of their popular carbon option parts.  Offered as a conversion kit for the Team Associated B6.4 and World Championship winning TLR 22 5.0 2WD buggies, the carbon edition contains the following replacement item – 1x Carbon Fibre Shock Tower Uprights (pair)  with 1x Carbon Fibre ‘Take 3’ Shock Tower Uprights (pair), 1x Chassis Skid Plate (Polycarbonate) with 1x Chassis Skid Plate (Carbon).  Additionally it includes a pair of Carbon Side Rail Pair and a Carbon Radio Tray. Having just restocked the standard RF3 kit, the British company has announced that new Bi-Material tower will now be standard in all kits.

Willspeed bi-material RF3 rear shock tower

New from Willspeed is this new bi-material rear shock tower for the Willspeed RF3 1:10 Buggy conversion.  The new rear shock tower is made from T6 aluminium with a 3mm carbon inlay creating a strong yet light shock tower.  This new rear tower fits both the Losi and Team Associated WS RF3 conversion kits.
