WRC STX 015 1/10th electric touring car

Italian company WRC have announced the forthcoming release of the STX 015 1/10th electric touring car kit. The vehicle will feature several improvements such as a new servo mount, reinforced suspension holders, a DSR called rail-type steering system, a redesigned aluminium front spool, a lightweight, reinforced rear gear differential and ball-raced anti-roll bars. The chassis is designed to offer several flex characteristic settings and all carbon fibre parts are made of a new graphite material. WRC STX reinforced lightweight gear differential

New from Italian company WRC comes a reinforced lightweight gear differential for the STX electric touring car. The set comes with all needed parts to build a complete diff, including composite internals such as the gears and cross pin. The diff makes use of anodised aluminium outdrives and it is a direct replacement for the kit’s standard item.

WRC STX hard foam bumper

Italian company WRC have announced a hard front foam bumper for the STX touring car. Stiffer than the standard part the hard bumper will offer better bodyshell support at high speeds and it also helps to better protect the chassis on impacts.

Daniele Ielasi leaves BMT for WRC

Former IFMAR World Champion and Italian frontrunner Daniele Ielasi has announced his departure from former car sponsors BMT to make a move to WRC Racing. He addresses that the move was mainly done for business reasons rather than being technically related. This is what Daniele has to say about the 2-year deal:

First of all I want thank Pasquale (BMT) for the support in the last year, and is important for me all the people must know the reason of my changing was not technical, but just for business, because in my position today is not important just make the “driver” and sometime in this world of RC the changing are unexpected and instant. So, now I’m really really excited to join in the team WRC and I hope to have good result this season and also the next!

New WRC Formula bodyshell & tyres – Sneak Peek

Italian company WRC will soon have a new 1/10th Formula body and new tyres and wheels available. Little is known about the new parts beside what can be seen in the image but the body looks pretty 2015-ish with its low and channelled nose design while the tyres seem to make use of a lower profile tyre wall and larger diameter rims, resembling Pirelli’s 2014 18 inch test wheels. No release date is know yet but we bring you more information as soon as they surface.

WRC 1/10th touring car rubber tyres

Italian company WRC have new 1/10th touring car tyres available for carpet and asphalt applications. While the carpet tyres come in a single compound the asphalt-specific tyres come in a soft and hard rubber mixture to adapt the car to different track conditions. All tyres come pre-glued on a white disc rim and in a handy storage and transportation box.

WRC GTX brass engine mount & battery support

WRC have new option parts available for the GTX 1/8th on-road car in the form of brass engine mount blocks and a battery support plate, made from the same material. Starting with the engine mounts, the 2-piece set is made from solid brass and it comes weight matched to a total of 65g. The blocks help to fine-tune the chassis’s weight balance as does the second new part, the brass battery support. The plate is a direct replacement for the stock part, it offers recessions for the battery tape and it weighs in at 46g.

WRC GTX carbon fibre aerodynamic disc set

New from WRC come carbon fibre discs for the front steering knuckles and rear hubs of the GTX 1/8th on-road car. The machined parts are meant to improve both low and high speed steering, they make for more traction and increased stability in high-speed corners due to less aerodynamic drag and turbulences created inside the rims.
