P-One RS3 lightweight 190mm touring body shell

P-One have introduced their new lightweight RS3 body shell for 190mm touring cars. Weighing in at only 75g painted and ready to go the body is of a super lightweight design but thanks to its overall shape the body is very strong and durable. Available separately and a direct fit for the body is the recently announced rear wing set containing one low and one high downforce wing.

P-One touring car rear wing set

Coming from P-One is a touring car rear wing set for 190mm body shells. Included are two wings, one for low-grip and one for high-grip track conditions, both of which feature moulded-on side dams that improve aerodynamic performance and durability while making it easier to prepare a new wing. Also included is lightweight wing mounting hardware in the form of two moulded composite wing buttons and moulded counter plates.

WRC Racing F18 1/10th formula car kit

Italian company WRC Racing have introduced their new F18 1/10th formula car kit. The competition spec kit makes use of a slim carbon fibre main chassis and it utilises a front composite upper arm suspension with new design lower carbon fibre arms, the kit includes a new aluminium central steel bell crank with servo saver, a new servo mount plate for low-profile servos as well as a new adjustable battery mount that allows to run the battery in transversal or longitudinal position. An adjustable single tube damper controls the chassis roll in corners as does the updated adjustable rear tweak system. The kit is rounded out by ETS-legal front and rear wings and a new high-downforce body shell.

WRC STX 1.5 alloy chassis & brass pivot balls

WRC Racing have announced the soon release of an aluminium main chassis as well as brass pivot balls for the STX 1.5 electric touring car. The chassis is machined from high-quality 7075-T6 aluminium and it features strategically placed cut-outs for optimised torsional flex characteristics. The main plate comes black anodised and with white laser-etched graphics for wear and looks. Also new are brass suspension pivot balls that help to add weight in the lower areas of the chassis while also reducing suspension friction. The balls come in a natural, polished finish.

WRC GTX 1.4 1/8th nitro on-road kit

WRC Racing keep updating their range of nitro and electric on-road kits with the latest being the GTX 1/8th car that has received a make-over and is now called the GTX 1.4. Subtle changes were made to areas such as the radio plate that sports an innovative floating design up front to optimise the chassis’ flex characteristics. Also new are redesigned servo mounts for a lower centre of gravity, the belt tensioner underwent an update and the kit features reinforced belts for greater durability. Last but not least comes a new, adjustable rear body mount. The GTX 1.4 is available now.

WRC STX 1.5 1/10th electric touring car kit

WRC Racing from Italy continue to update their existing line of on-road kits with the latest being the STX 1.5 1/10th 4WD electric touring car. The latest incarnation sports improvements in many areas such as a symmetric chassis for improved car balance, the rail-type steering system was lowered and the tourer now also features a central transmission system. Furthermore allows the STX 1.5 to run two different types of top decks, in standard vertical or traditional horizontal orientation.

WRC Racing NTX 1.2 1/10th nitro on-road kit

WRC Racing have introduced the NTX 1.2 1/10th 200mm nitro on-road kit. The evolution of the NTX 1.1 features some subtle updates such as new front and rear driveshafts, flanged aluminium wheel nuts, redesigned carbon fibre steering knuckle Ackermann plates, as well as reinforced drive belts, and new aluminium roller belt supports. Otherwise the kit was left untouched and it should hit stores soon.

Rico Kröber teams up with WRC Racing

WRC Racing from Italy have announced the signing of Germany’s Rico Kröber to their factory team. A 1/10th on-road specialist, the former Capricorn driver will campaign WRC’s STX electric touring and new NTX nitro touring cars at races all over Germany. Rico has the following to say about his move:

After three years as Capricorn factory driver I am proud to join the WRC Racing Team and would like to thank Franco Ghiotto, CEO of WRC Racing, for his confidence. I would also like to thank Dr. Harald Hergarten, who works intensively in Germany to create the team and support his drivers as well his help in the continuous development of the products. I am looking forward to exciting and successful years in my new team.
