Xray X1’18 flex & standard aluminium chassis

Coming from Xray and made for the 2018 variant of their popular X1 1/10th scale formula car are the new flex and standard aluminium main chassis. Both are machined from Swiss 7075-T6 aluminium and come black anodised for wear and looks. As they offer increased torsional rigidity they will make for easier car control, more steering and traction on higher grip surfaces with the flex chassis, that sports machined cut-outs, being best used on medium to high bite tracks while the full face standard chassis excels on high to very high grip tracks. Both feature laser-engraved markings and they are available now.

T-Works DLC-coated touring car shock shafts

Coming from T-Works are several DLC-coated shock shaft sets for many of today’s electric touring cars. The DLC coat is well-known from the internals of nitro engine where it saves crankshafts and piston rods from excessive wear and it is now also used on shock shafts where it can make for a smoother suspension feel thanks to its slick anti-stick characteristics. The shock shafts come in sets of four or two and are available for kits such as the Xray T4’18/17, Yokomo BD8/BD7 as well as the Mugen MTC1.

Xray T4 aluminium lower suspension arms

Coming from Xray and made for the T4 series of electric touring cars are all-new lower aluminium suspension arms. The wishbones are made of high-quality 7075-T6 aluminium, they are of the standard 1-hole geometry and are best used in very high grip conditions such as permanent carpet tracks. Due to their construction arms hardly twist under load and thus scrub less speed in corners while making the car easier to drive at the same time compared to the standard composite arms. The A-arms come in pairs and are available separately for the front and rear of the car or as complete set including all four wishbones.

Xray XB2 low-profile shock absorbers & shock parts

Coming from Xray and made for the XB2 series of buggies are low-profile shock absorber and front shock parts. The new setup also allows to run the buggy without front swaybar and with more droop for better landing after jumps. Available are front 4mm and rear 3.5mm carbon fibre shock towers as well as 32mm long hard-coated shock bodies and 42mm hardened front shock shafts.
