Aigoin Racing have announced the signing of French frontrunner, Jerome Aigoin. The former long-time Kyosho pilot and 3-times French National Champion will campaign Xray kits, Ultimate engines and Hudy accessories, joining his brother Yannick in running the Slovakian buggies.

Following the signing of son Ty, Xray and RC America have announced that Gord Tessmann has been appointed as the Xray North America Off-road Team Manager. Coming from Xray and made for the XT2 stadium truck are graphite lower A-arms. Moulded using a specially formulated composite material the suspension arms offer increased stiffness compared to the already available medium and hard arms, optimising the truck’s performance especially on high and very high bite surfaces. The arms are of a symmetrical design, allowing to use them on the left and right hand side of the truck and they are available separately for the front and rear end.
The rumour mill was running hot on this topic and now the predictions of many have come true as Xray have officially announced the signing of former HB Racing factory driver, Ty Tessmann. The 2014 IFMAR World Champion and multiple ROAR Nationals winner will campaign Xray’s 1/8th and 1/10th off-road vehicles at all major events in the United States and Canada. He had the following to say about the deal:

Tonisport have introduced the MR33 carbon fibre main chassis and top deck for the Xray T4’17. Both parts are machined from high-quality USA-made carbon fibre with the main chassis being cut from 2.25mm material while the top deck comes made from 2.0mm carbon fibre. Both parts are direct replacements for the stock items and they are available now.
Coming from Xray is a 64 pitch 90T offset spur gear for the T4 line of touring cars. Precision moulded and strategically lightened for a reduced weight the gear is made from a hard composite material for long wear and quiet operation. The smallest Xray touring car main gear yet adds to the already existing range of 92T to 118T gears and it is ideal for high-turn stock motor classes.

Xray have announced the signing of Italian frontrunner, Alessio Mazzeo to their factory team. The former Serpent driver is EFRA Euro B and A title holder, 2016 IFMAR 200mm vice World Champion and 5-times Italian national champion. Alessio will compete in events such as the ENS, at EFRA GPs, the national championship, the XRS and also at the EFRA Euros and IFMAR Worlds and he has the following to say about the deal:

Coming from Yeah Racing is a range of carbon fibre option parts for Xray’s T4 2017 touring car. First up are two equal flex carbon fibre chassis plates of harder 2.25mm and softer 2.0mm specification. Both offer a symmetrical design with mirrored motor cut-outs that make for equal left-to-right flex characteristics. The chassis are direct replacements for the stock main plate and they are available separately.
