Xray have added a new spring to their range of 20mm low-profile 4S springs in the form of the C=2.8. The second hardest in the range fits between the 2.9 and 2.7 and it each set is individually controlled, measured and matched for best possible consistency. The black-colour springs come in sets of two and they are marked for easy identification.

Made for Xray’s T4’17 touring car kit is Techra’s all-new black and orange anodised aluminium main chassis plate. Cut from high-quality 7075 aluminium the 2mm thick chassis is only 84mm wide and it features distinctive herringbone cut-outs under the battery and electronics compartments for optimised flex characteristics. The chassis comes in a matte black finish with orange anodised chamfered edges for a very special look.
Xray have released a first teaser image of their forthcoming XB8’17 1/8th scale nitro off-road buggy. The latest incarnation of the company’s poplar XB8 platform will hit the stores soon with all information and images becoming available in time for the release.

Following the introduction of the 2.25mm matte-finish carbon fibre lower deck, Samix now also released information on the respective upper deck. The top plate is cut from high-quality sheet material, it sports a matte surface finish to match Samix’s main chassis plate and it is a direct replacement for the kit’s glossy finish part.

Cut from high-quality matte-finish carbon fibre the chassis is of a near fully symmetrical design with a mirrored under-motor cut-out for equal left-to-right flex characteristics. Included with the chassis comes a black anodised add-on aluminium motor fan mount for 40mm fan units.
Xray have introduced a dedicated aluminium pinion tool for the RX8 1/8th on-road car. The wrench helps to install and remove pinions from the XCA clutch system without harming the gears or clutchbell. Made from high-quality 7075 aluminium the tool sports a black surface treatment for wear and looks and it is usable with 17T to 19T first gear and 22T to 25T second gear pinions.

Aigoin Racing have announced the signing of French frontrunner, Jerome Aigoin. The former long-time Kyosho pilot and 3-times French National Champion will campaign Xray kits, Ultimate engines and Hudy accessories, joining his brother Yannick in running the Slovakian buggies.
