Coming from Radtec and made for the Xray T4 line of touring cars are aluminium differential outdrives. Machined from high-quality 7075 material and finished with a hard-coated surface the cups reduce the drivetrain’s rotating mass for improved acceleration and braking while offering low wear characteristics at the same time.

Xray have announced the signing of French National Champion Leo Arnold to their on-road team. Leo will be racing at national and international 1/8th and 1/10th scale events using Xray’s RX8, NT1 and T4 cars. Leo’s campaign will include attendances at the ENS, ETS and European Championships and 3-times French Cup winner and multiple ENS and ETS finalist has the following to day about the deal:

Xray have announced the 2016 edition of their successful XB4 1/10th scale 4WD electric off-road buggy. Extensively tested and refined by Xray’s factory team the latest incarnation of the European Championship winning buggy will feature an all-new chassis with shorter overhangs and a refined, more forward motor position. At the same time the battery mount, for shorty LiPos only and with the possibility to run the pack forward or rearward, moved to the rear for a more balanced weight distribution. Also new are hard composite side guards with medium stiffness parts being available for very low-grip tracks.
Xray factory team driver and current World and European Champion, Alexander Hagberg will hold the Xray Work.Shop Singapore on the 14th of October at the Urban PlaySpace, 190 Middle Road, Level 6B Fortune Centre, Singapore. Hiro Seiko have introduced a range of optional screw sets for the T4’16 and X12’16 on-road kits. Starting with the T4 sets, they include selected screws for the 2016 specification kit and they are available as titanium or mixed titanium and aluminium set. Included are 98 hex screws and using the kits scrubs between 18g and 23g of weight while adding bling at the same time. Also new are two respective sets for the X12’16 1/12th scale pan car. Containing 48 screw each they save about 9.8g to 12g of weight with the mixed set being the lighter one due to the included alloy screws.
Xray have introduced the latest incarnation of highly successful T4 platform. The 2016 specification car received some subtle changes to make the European Championships and IFMAR Vice-World Championship title winning car even better. The backbone of the ’16 is a redesigned lower chassis plate made from 2.2mm high-grade carbon fibre. Only 86mm wide the chassis offers optimised flex characteristics and it features new mounting positions for the updated motor mount to make for equal left-to-right flex and greatly reduced chassis tweak. Weight distribution and balance characteristics have also been optimised to allow the battery to sit as closely to the car’s centre line as possible which was made necessary due to today’s heavy, high-capacity LiPo battery packs. The chassis also sports pre-drilled holes for optional parts such as chassis weights, graphite motor guard, graphite adjustable battery holder, and battery strap.
Xray have released a first teaser image of their soon-to-be-released XB4’16 1/10th 4WD buggy. The year 2016 incarnation of the European Championship winning kit had its debut at the recent EOS race in Germany with a double podium finish in the hands of Martin Wollanka and Bruno Coelho. Coming from Radtec and made for the Xray T4’15 touring car is the aluminium steering arm and floating steering system. Included are a high-grade graphite servo top plate, ball-raced 7075 aluminium steering arms as well as a set of steering posts. The steering arm’s design allows for maximum steering throw for improved cornering and they can be mounted both on the chassis or on the upper servo plate to obtain different flex and steering characteristic settings.
