New from Xray for the XB4 4wd buggy is this aluminium central bulkhead. A direct replacement of the composite central bulkhead for better reinforcement, greater reliability and longer life it has been CNC-machined from premium Swiss 7076 aluminium and additionally black coated and laser engraved.

Exotek has new option parts for the F1R2 IFS kit and Xray’s 1/10th servo saver available in the form of machined damper rods and a carbon servo saver plate. Starting with the machined damper rods for the F1R2 independent front suspension set, the highly precise parts are machined from black POM and they come with blue anodised alloy spring stands. The rods make for silky smooth damper action of the IFS assembly and they also include M5 shims to to raise the ride height further.

Xray has announced that 5-times BRCA national champion Olly Jefferies signed a contract extension with the Slovakian company for the 2015 season. Olly joined Xray only last year and in his debut year he already won both the BRCA 1/10th and 1/12th classes. Olly’s racing calendar this year will see appearances at all major UK races and also at the European Championships in 1/10th Touring Cars and 1/12th scale. Olly has the following to say:
I would like to thank Xray for the continued support and look forward to another successful year in 2015. I have enjoyed my first year with Xray and have been impressed with the professionalism and desire to improve constantly. The highlights of the year were winning two national titles but look to have more success in 2015 now I am fully settled in to my new surroundings.

Made for the use in high traction conditions is this graphite front brace for the Xray X1 formula car. Cut from 2.5mm carbon fibre sheet and coming with mounting hardware the brace makes for a less aggressive steering feeling on grippy surfaces as it stiffens up the front end assembly by connecting the lower wishbones.

Xray has announced the contract extension with seasoned on-road racer and former IFMAR World Champion Ralph Burch for 2015. Ralph will attend all major electric and nitro races to support the Xray USA team and to race Xray’s line of on-road cars. Ralph has the following to say about the deal:
I have been very happy for the work our Xray USA team has achieved over the last decade and including the last year. Over the years we have built a very effective team work & cooperation which has resulted into some of my best achievements in my racing career including the World Champion title. Xray introduce new aluminium rear uprights for the XB4 line of 1/10th scale buggies. The parts are of a new design with vertical ball stud mounting positions that allow for easy roll centre changes by adding or removing shims under the camber link pivot balls. The hubs also sport a total of five different mounting positions to alter the length of the camber links in order to further fine-tune the camber gain characteristics. On top of that the uprights allow for a wheelbase adjustment range of 4mm. The black anodised and laser etched parts come separately for the left and right hand side of the vehicle.

The parts are machined from high-quality 7075 alloy material, they come black anodised and laser-etched for easy identification. The pre-set 12 degree castor setting is ideal for high traction conditions, it increases corner exit steering while the aluminium material makes for less flex and added overall rigidity.
