ZZRacing have new optional screw sets available for the Xray T4 2014. Coming in titanium or stainless steel variants, each set includes all the screws needed to replace the stock black steel fasteners. Both sets are made from high quality material with the titanium screws scrubbing some weight and adding rigidity compared to the stainless steel fasteners.

The Reflex Racing RSD RX4 chassis conversion kit is designed for Xray’s pre-2014 T4 platform. The kit includes a new 2.25mm thick and only 85mm wide main chassis plate that offers more ground clearance during fast cornering. The chassis sports mounting positions for both regular length and shorty LiPo battery packs and features new captured pivot balls and adjustable plastic insert suspension mounts. Toe angles and track width is adjustable using different inserts and the design of the system does not allow the suspension arm to get loose when clipping curbs or dots, which over a race will allow the car to stay more consistent from beginning to end of the run. The backwards compatible set includes the main chassis, aluminium suspension mounts, a full plastic insert set, front and rear stainless steel hinge pins and hardened steel pivot balls.

New from Exotek Racing come several aluminium option parts for the Xray XB4 buggy in the form of rear hubs, servo and wing mounts. Starting with the rear hubs, the parts are machined from 7075 aluminium and sport vertical camber ball stud mounting positions for easy roll centre adjustments using different thickness shims. Included with the parts that come in orange or black colour are 2mm spacers to match the stock geometry of the kit’s plastic hubs. Next up are aluminium servo mounts, again machined from 7075 aluminium. The parts offer higher rigidity and sport a lightweight design and come in orange or black colour. Last but not least are the aluminium wing mounts. They are of a heavy duty design and add a huge amount of durability while being light of weight at the same time. Just like the other XB4 parts they are available in orange or glossy black colour.

CSO introduce the Super-V flex chassis conversion kit for the CSO One touring car kit. The set includes a new flexible chassis plate with large milled-out sections to improve roll flex during cornering. Along with the updated chassis comes a corresponding upper deck, again with machined sections to increase flexibility. Included with the set comes a new middle layshaft mount that separates the mount from the top deck, as well as aluminium centre pulleys, new steering posts, a middle reinforcement post, new suspension mounts with added mounting points for the inner split blocks, as well as a new motor mount for a wider range of pinion gear choices. The set is rounded out by a fan mount for 35mm and 40mm units. It is understood that the set also fits the Xray T4 (2013 Spec) touring car.

Xray introduce the T4 2014 electric touring car kit. Still called the T4 platform the 2014 spec kit features a range of new and updated parts that heavily separates the ’14 version from the previous kit. First up is the 89mm wide 2.2mm carbon fibre chassis that comes with pre-drilled holes for optional parts such as chassis weights, motor guard, battery holder or battery straps. Also part of the newly designed chassis is an updated motor and layshaft mount – both separate parts now to eliminate unwanted tweak. The layshafts mounts are of a captured design to allow the layshaft bearings to stay in place even with the top deck screws removed. The chassis flex is now additionally adjustable using a sturdy aluminium post that can be screwed onto the motor mount.

Xray introduce the all-new X12 1/12th scale pan car kit. Building on the experience gained with the X11 the new kit features a redesigned narrow main chassis, narrow rear pod, an all-new centralised shock mounting position and many other refinements such as a new front suspension including redesigned front arms. The new chassis allows to mount the battery in an off-set in-line or traversal placement while the narrow design with more centrally mounted rear pod links makes for a more agile handling and improved side-to-side weight transition. The new longer upper pod plate results in a more progressive damping to improve forward traction and handling over bumps. Also part of the new rear end setup are straight-type side springs for a smoother and more consistent compression. Up front inserts for the lower arm mounts allow track width adjustment in 0.5mm increments while 0.2mm to 0.6mm ride height spacers help you to fine tune the ride height for a variety of tyre diameters. Other front end features include easy-to-tune reactive castor and Ackermann settings. As usual the kit comes without body, tyres or electronics.

Xray introduce new graphite gear differential bevel and satellite gears for their 1/10th line of cars and buggies such as the T4, NT1 and XB4. Made from a new composite material the gears are of an extra strong design, make for increased drivetrain efficiency due to their low weight and they offer a long life due to minimal wear. The set is a direct replacement for the parts found in the kits.

Xray introduce new composite lower bulkheads for the RX8 on-road car. They are of a clean and lightweight design and moulded in a new hard material making them ideal for the use in high ambient temperatures or on very high grip tracks. They also absorb vibrations created by the engine and make for a more natural flex compared to the stock parts. All four bulkheads are available as separate items.
